Upcoming Shows/Tours/Events / Re: Chaos In Tejas 2010

Why did you get kicked out and what trouble did you have with the staff?
This time i walked back stage to ask the band to start. staff has never been out of line, but past confrontations have given Emo's a bit of an oppressive feeling.

I have been listening to music for 5 hours and I don't remember one song of them, I feel like my body is losing joints

now i'm listening to a-frames and i am paying attention, much better, after i saw them play i had that wonderful thirsty gotta listen to them feeling, and wasn't able to satisfy for 4 days, great tension! although now after having seen them the records pale a bit..was great to see them, glad i managed it. pat

AW I missed this,
shit, I was busy with my head and then I realize there was an event outside of it worth attending. It was becoming a darker place as it got towards evening today and obviously I should have realized why, if I had kept my dates straight. Need to get a better schedule for sleeping and remembering days..

Found some cool stuff I'd not heard in the radio library while I was doing my show the other day. Eeyore Ass Guzzler from a split 7'' with Caroliner, this Joe Colon side of a split with Condomek, which had this really great guitar on it, and a Bringdownz 7'' on Stomach Ache. It's amazing what turns up in that library week to week. also enjoying these new Dino Felipe and Richard bliwas CDs we were sent recently, Yellow Rhytmik Sun and Astral Prints respectively. A similar sort of thing going on in both I think, one guy doing weird electronic things to instruments, recording and singing over, treating vocals similarly. A happy medium usually found between putting songs together and staring at the sound, I'd imagine. That Richard Bliwas is particularly strange, jazzy piano in a lot of the songs managing to mostly avoid cheese, or at least to mix it into some uncanniness.

Personally I like the experience of downloading stuff. Good album, didn't download it but I might have.

Brisket is always my first choice of BBQ meats. There is usually a difficult internal struggle before I can allow myself to purchase any other sort of BBQ.

It makes sense that it was dead, why else would someone try to revive it?
