Tough news, great guy. When he was on a book tour, he was eating at my restaurant and I explained my obsession over "Metal Machine" that week. Knowing he hates autographs, said "you deserve this" and auto'd a sticky note. Giddy.

I think I've appreciated everything the guy has done. RIP.
