I'm just razzing you because you almost always have either Alice Cooper, T. Rex, or Aeorsmith on these lists.

Actually I'm so bored by today's wrestling that I'd no longer consider myself a huge fan of anything but the old stuff. I'm way more excited by MMA right now, which is way gayer than pro wrestling ever thought of being. During any given UFC card you're likely to hear Joe Rogan scream "he's got his back!" like an excited little girl. Terms like "rear naked choke," "the north/south position," and most tellingly "the full mount" are also used quite regularly.

I really like "Who's Got the Biggest Balls in Town." "Yuppies" and "War Time" are also good. These guys write some catchy tunes. Only duff cut is "Emo Faggot."

I agree with Tricknee. The world needs more punk records that remind me of ordering out of the Underground Medicine catalog in 1998.

Hockey is the only sport I can watch besides mixed martial arts. What's the common denominator? Violence.

I've got a deep seated hatred of football that stems back to childhood. My dad would turn the TV up to like 45 or 50 when the Vikings games came on and I can still recall wanting to sleep in until 12 on Sunday and having that damn NFL theme wake me up. Fucking HATE football. The only thing cool about football is that they have a team named after a gay sex act (Packers) and another that brings to mind a post-sodomy penis (Browns).

You could pick far worse bands to obsess over.

Dixigas do you have that "Sister Ray" boot LP with the one side featuring a mic stuck directly in Lou's guitar amp? I heard that while really drunk at a friend's house and it was pretty epic.

You don't like "I wanna go home" or "youth coup"? I also found that Roy Loney LP sealed for $2. What about any of that Twin/Tone stuff? Are those The Phones Lps any good?

Those songs are probably alright. To tell the truth that record always turns into background noise when I put it on and "Do You Say Love" is the only tune to really stand out for me. It's not that the others are bad so much as that they don't back much of a wallop. I'm sure I'd dig them more if I had bought this record 5-10 years ago when I was more easily impressed by this kinda stuff.

Only Twin/Tone record I have is the first Suburbs single. To tell the truth I'm scared of buying anything with that logo on the back. My older nephew had an internship at Twin/Tone back in the 90's and he brought home a lot of crap promos.

I think this EP was $6 when it came out, which was a lot for a single at the time. Luckily I didn't let the price scare me off. I had never heard them but had heard Teengenerate and the Devil Dogs cover "Savage" and "Ain't Got Time Enough For Love." Seriously one of the best punk records.

Listening to it again now this Piper record is pretty limp besides "Out of Control" "Who's Your Boyfriend" and "Telephone Relation."

'Yeah, this dollar record blows - it's only got three good songs on it.'

COME ON, SAINT STEPHEN!

the cover of 'The Last Time' is pretty good as well.

I paid like $7 for that LP and I've never seen it besides that one time. It's worth getting and all, but it's not a great record is all I was trying to say.

More:

Holly & the Italians LP (only truly great song is "Do You Say Love" but it's more than worth $5 for that one tune. Plus Paul Shaffer plays keyboards.)
Roy Loney & the Phantom Movers "Out After Dark" LP - THEE SHIT!!!
Richard LLoyd "Alchemy" LP
David Johansen first LP

Gozac! You're going record shopping with me and Eli at the end of the month. We're also gonna take you out for Juicy Lucys before the Double Deuce. Deal with it!

Whaddaya mean "alternate reality?" Where'd I leave my tin of Kodie? I can't listen to this Piper LP without having a chew first.
