I totally missed the cruise on Savage Damage Digest's second issue and was hoping to pick it up. Digging around shows it's out of print. I was wonderin' if any of you have an extra you don't want or just don't feel like keeping the copy you have. I'm guessing it still had a $5 cover price, but I'm open to offers.

Won't argue about Kemp, but lets not get too excited about the Dodgers right now. They won four series so far: two against the Padres, one against the Pirates, and one against the Astros. They lost their series against the Brewers. Who knows how they will do against the Braves or the Nationals, but they so far they are winning against teams that every team other than those teams should win against. If they lost to the Padres, Astros, and Pirates that would be news. Christ, look at this schedule http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/schedule/_/name/lad/los-angeles-dodgers and do not be surprised if they are just the 2011 Indians.
First of all, I completely agree about being critical re: the Dodgers schedule. That said, they pushed the Brew Crew pretty far and lost two of the three in the bottom of the 9th.
I think we are nowhere near as good as people were making us out to be, and we are notably short pitching past Kershaw & Bills. We don't have much to trade, so I don't see us picking up a great starter to make us a team the shuts others down. If only we could've kept a solid number three in our rotation like Kuroda... d'oh!
It's hard not to be excited about Matt Kemp and his wonderful contract, one of the things Colletti completely nailed (which have been few & far between, imo). Now we must lock down Kershaw in a similar manner. That should give us the bones of a team for a few years while the new ownership comes and starts plonking money down in the drafts we've been awol from under McCourt in recent years.
In other news... BASEBALL!

at the egyptian? i went at 9. i liked it, kinda sad.
nu sensae last week killed it.
yeah, the interview with his parents & sister was tough to watch. definitely some cool footage. wish they would've had the show at the Doll House in Ana-crime when all hell broke loose. that was my first Jay show, and what-a-way to be introduced.

Tropical Sleep is -sadly- dead (according to Dan)... we're stoked on all the new stuff - it's all great! The new Estrogen Highs LP is gonna blow minds! It's AMAZING.
