What game were you watching?   He looked terrible in every game I saw him in.   When the midfield is making Rosicky look good you know there's a problem.

haven't got to watch any full games, so maybe that's what I'm missing.  he's banged in at least two goals and didn't he play in Walcott or Gervinho for a goal?  i think that was on the asian tour...

hey, at least we got the OC on our team, now.  our season is saved!

not looking forward to watching this Arsenal team this season.  Fabregas preseason injury!  who'da thunk it.

It's going to be a loooong, loooong season.   Gervinho is pretty much the only positive I've seen in pre-season.

bleh, Cesc with a full summer off for the first time in four years (i think... WC, Confed Cup, Euros the last three years).  He's still got the best record of assists and chances created in the PL over the last 5 years and the Gunners look sharper with him on the pitch.  I think he'll go in the next year or two, but it looks like we'll have him for another year and I think he's a class act.  (yeah yeah yeah, he made two big bonehead mistakes last year v. liverpool & bartha)...

on to topics not UEFA or PL based, that was a nice assist from Donovan yesterday.  the USA is sad without him.

Where are most of the shows happening down there now?

For Long Beach, the Prospector normally takes care of bands (free drinks all night, last I played).  Alex's is cool.  Que Sera works.  If you are looking for a night, lemme know, I can ask around.

For LA, it seems the TermBo shows go through the 5 Star & the Smell.  Or random places I've never heard of or been to.
