The Gunners looked terrible today.  we have no hope if we put in shifts like that.  Can't see how this is the same team that can work their tail off against United, Chel-ski & Bartha and still play that lackluster against the so-called lesser teams.

2 minutes in and United up 1-0?  Turn around for a minute and miss something.

On a final note, I got to finally see Thierry Henry last night at the Galaxy game.  The first half was actually the best 45 minutes of MLS I've ever seen.  It was good to see Titi, even at his age, as he was out injured when I went to Highbury and at last year's Galaxy-Red Bulls match.

nice, looking forward to an LA area show.  Long Beach could work, too.

i'm hoping that Bartha win.  I'd rather the Gunners lost to the eventual champions.

also, Mourinhou is a friggin' cunt.  so, there's that...

10-12 mins. just seems to lack desire or intensity, gives the ball up easily and makes no effort to win it back.

really?  he looked like the player with the most urgency when he came on in the Liverpool game.  in fairness, he has responded well since being dropped with Walcott back.

took the afternoon off to watch the match-great game despite a lame PK given.  Not at all a goal scoring opportunity, anybody can drag their legs through the goalkeeper hands.  Weak.

but can anybody kick the ball a mile away before they do it and still get the call.  genius, those spuds are.  /LongExhale.................

maybe next year the calls won't be as rough on us.  sometimes it don't go your way.

It certainly hasn't been him.  I can remember very CLEAR moments this season in which he threw away games.   My mind keeps darting back to that particularly embarrassing backflick in front of our penalty area against Barca.

that handball when he threw his arm up in the wall for a penalty was ridiculous and frustrating.  that said, there have been games when he has come on and been so much more direct than many of our players.  i would not want to sell him.  i keep thinking if we can just get one experienced hard man in the middle, we would be in such better shape.  competition for Song and somebody to grab the game by the neck.  i think with Vermaelen now on the comeback trail and having Djourou and Koscielny, we should be ok with 3 very good CBs and Squillaci as the fourth man moving forward.  also, Bartley seems like a beast and we may be after that Cissoko kid...

Look at the Gunners handed a life-line.  I still think it's over, but it wouldn't hurt without the hope...

If Arsenal & Chel-ski both beat United, that's one point...

good news for this guy.  FiOS picked up FSC as an HD channel, finally.  It's only 720p, but it's a nice step up.  Ready for Liverpool this weekend.  Good to see Szcezsney & Djourou back.

...and United through.  Hopefully that helps keep the devils tired.  We'll need everything we can get.

And good news on Djourou and Szczesny for sure! I was getting worried we'd be stuck with Lehmann. Hes a complete legend and a total nutter but I couldn't see him lasting 7 games straight at his age and after being retired for over 12 months. Hope you're right about Stan (I like he doesn't blah to the media all the time - the media's destroying the game and turning into some kinda Z(zzz)-rate reality TV programme starring a bunch of egotistical footballers and dodgy businessmen). I'll reserve judgment until at least the end of next season.

Hehehe, Lehman back is great, although I couldn't agree with you more that it seems like people are loving the sentiment of it but nervous about the long term quality.  He looked alright on the weekend, though.  As for him being a nutter, I've been getting a kick of that Mad Jens account on twitter.  Good times.

So, Arsenal fans, what are the Kroenke thoughts?  Seems like there are many worse owners out there...

And it was nice to finally experience the taste of victory again.  Walcott really is a fantastic sub.  And it's been nice to see him start games better, but geez off the bench he really drags tired teams around.

Yeah... but like really what do we know about the guy? Do we believe what some newspaper says? It could be a good thing, could equally be disastrous if he starts messing around like Abramovich has. Wenger and Hill-Wood have said they back his takeover bid but honestly... what else are they gonna say!? We'll just have to wait and see I think. But yeah probably better than Vladimir's mate Usmanov, who's a complete gangster. But that's just an impression I get. Businessmen are still businessman and its all about the benjamin's at the end of the day for the majority.

Was a decent performance at the weekend from the Gunners but they need to pick it up now. Liverpool at the weekend! And man what a performance THEY put in last night! They dominated that sham of a team - what a joke are City, an utter sham-bles! Just goes to show you can throw all the money you want at a problem and it tends to solve nothing. All the plaudits from the English media are going to Carroll's goals (first goal was a blinder, second was off Kolarov which in all honesty was influenced by a bit of pressure and a bit of luck..) because he's one of England's future hopefuls. But man of the match for me was Dirk Kuyt (great goal with his right too!). Guy's an absolute workhorse and a strong leader to boot. Constantly putting pressure on the opposition when they have the ball. He has his ups and downs attacking wise but at least you know he's gonna put in the effort every time and hes strong on the one-on-ones. Great result for the Pool anyways - really enjoyed the game, and the crowd was fantastic as usual (in fact WAY more than usual - probably their best performance all season!). The Emirates supporters could learn a thing or two - I think they're actually better playing away what with all the boo boys and bandwagon hoppers taking up all the seats these days.

Gonna be a tough game at the weekend for sure especially with Liverpool in that kinda form. Would like to say Arsenal to win... but c'mon being completely realistic here, what with the goalie problems, defensive inconsistencies and whatever other inconsistencies they'll be blessed to take a point (especially if Liverpool played anything like they played last night!). Lets just say the hardest working team will win that one. Ha, place your bets! But at this stage Arsenal really need to be going for all three - one point just won't do. They can't let up, especially still having to play both United and Spurs. There's tough games at Stoke, Bolton  -- there's no teams they're gonna walk over. Fergie's right, every game from now is a cup game.

I think Kroenke will be straight forward.  It would be odd for him to be completely different than he is with the other four (three?) teams he owns in the USofA.

As for this weekend, there is talk of Djourou & Szczesny coming back.  That would be NICE!  It shall be a big game.  At least it's at the Grove.

The Arsenal are just not good enough.  the 95% team.  Just can't make it to the finish line.  So frustrating.
