i was friends with the guys who started etsy in college... back then they were just regular computer nerds with no interest in crafts or shopping or vintage or anything, but they realized they could make a ton of money by starting Etsy so they did.

They are rich now.

My two closest friends sold out their portion of the company a couple years ago though.

It is still weird for me to hear people talk about Etsy.

Ah yeah...Rob. He's a super nice guy. He use to swing by Metropolis about once a month. I haven't seen him around in a while though.
