I sat down with about 12 Foghat albums to see if they ever flirted with brilliance. One of their most unnoticed albums was called "Stone Blue," and from the looks of the cover, it's obvious why it wasn't a hit. There was one song on it called "Easy Money" which kills me! Otherwise, it was all crap!

"Fool For the City" is the album you need, with their grand hit "Slow Ride", good stuff.


But Buffalo is probably the best cockrock band of'em all, "Volcanic Rock" and "Only want your for your Body" are the shit.

There was a Foghat record at Salvation Army too that I was half-way tempted to get but forgot about it. Damn my shitty memory...

I was never really one to get a hard on for the mass gaming kinds of things.  I suck and some of the people on those servers are 45 year old assholes that do nothing but play on the internet all day and kill 12 year olds and then taunt them.  Count me out, Jack.

Yeah, that's why I started playing Project Reality servers. I think a majority of the people I play with most of the time are older than me. The only problem you'd probably have on PR servers is every so often you might hop on a server full of Swedish people. Apparently Swedish people really like that game haha.

FEAR's a good one too, but the plot is gay.  I know, it's a video game, but the story is lamer than shit.

I haven't really experienced much of it to know anything about a story. All I know is the game seemed really really cool. I do like games with a plot but sometimes I just settle for some straight up storyless shoot-em up games. Which is exactly what Battlefield 2 is about haha. There really isn't much of a story but that game is fucking fun as hell! I've been playing on the Project Reality mod servers the past few months...it gets pretty god damn intense on there.

I agree with one of the best things about the Half-Life series, is that they focus alot about the story/plot. I can't wait until Half-Life 3 comes out. I know somebody was talking about buying it. I suggest get the Half Life 2:GAME OF THE YEAR edition. It comes with Half-Life 1&2, Counter Strike, and Half-Life Deathmatch.

It's always better off waiting to buy a game like that. They always come out with series packs. For instance, with Diablo 2, my friend waited about a year or so to get it and he ended up buying this battlechest thing that came with Diablo 1 & 2 plus all of their expansion packs. Meanwhile I spent probably 20 or 30 dollars more than he did and I only got Diablo 2. Of course I bought the stupid ass limited edition. It totally wasn't worth it. Unless of course you're into D&D or something. It came with this official Diablo 2 D&D thing.

That's my favorite game of all time Seriously, I thought I was going to shit when I started playing it. I didn't do anything else for a month. Good thing I wasn't in school full-time.

Yeah, that's it.  That game kicks ass.

I think that game is way more scarey than Doom 3. I've only played the demo though. I'm very very tempted to buy the whole game. Those fucking snorting zombie things that charge after you made me shit my pants countless times.


I saw that someone had mentioned Far Cry. Have any of you seen the new project that the makers of Far Cry are working on now? It's fucking INSANE! It's pretty much just going to be real...straight up real. The in game animation will consist of a real sense of depth of field and motion blur on moving objects. Those are just a few random things in the game that make the game amazing.

I've been playing half-life 2 lately and it rules.  Even though the whole fighting the alien oppressors thing has been done to death, its stilll got a really cool plot and makes you feel like you're in a sci-fi movie.  Its gotten me back into computer gaming, which I gave up when I was a teenager.

Half Life is just a game where you can tell they feel a plot is important. I mean how many first person shooters do you see where you start out doing nothing but walking around and talking to people? It starts out right away just seeming like a movie pretty much. Even though it is the over done alien idea it doesn't really matter because it's done so well. That game also really made me want to learn how to use Soft Image too.

I've heard about those types of roms but I've never played one.  I've played a lot of SNES games only released in Japan, though.  One of them was this wierd anime porn game.  It wasn't really game just a bunch of pictures of anime girls naked.  I wasn't into it.

My friend found something similar to this only it was real(ish) photos of naked chicks. I forgot which emulator it was for though. I almost want to say SNES??? It was pretty odd. He of course masturbated to it though. He just felt it was necessary.

Has anyone ever come across some rather odd roms for their emulators?

I downloaded one of those game pack things off from soulseek with like 200+ NES games on it. So I wasn't exactly 100% sure what I was getting. As I start playing the games I notice that there are a few games that have two seperate files but with slightly different file names. I try playing one game and it's normal, I then play the other and notice it's just SLIGHTLY different. For example, I had the mario series on there and there was Mario 2 and Mario 2K. Mario 2K was the same as regular Mario 2 except for a minor adjustment, they had turned it into a racist game. They turned Mario and Luigi into skinheads and all of the enemies are black. There were a few other games similar to this but they weren't racist though. I had an "alternative" version of River City Ransom as well. They made it very very x-rated. The guy would run around with his dick out.

I'm considering buying it but I'm afraid if I buy it I won't even bother playing it. I mean the only game I actually have installed on my computer right now is battlefield 2 and I barely have time to even play that. Which is ironic because I'm always on the computer haha. Usually involves me attempting to do homework but getting distracted by message board(s).
