This is some upside-down and venal shit. Impressive though. The weirdest of the weird punks? More aggro than dream code.

This is a great time for music. The underground is really strong and diverse right now, and I hope a Termbo act breaks into the mainstream. There are a lot of young people who would really like to be exposed to the great stuff going on right now. Lets wait and see what happens this year.

I haven't really gotten into this band, though a lot of sound minded people dig them as being an influence. Is there any one album thats better than the rest? Or forget about it?

But seriously, is anyone moving up or what?

Can anyone recommend any awesome NZ bands besides the clean, dead C, tall dwarves, or shocking pinks?

I dont understand the Wavves haters... I thought his music would appeal to most people on this board. But I will say the Wavves hype machine wouldnt be the beast it is, unless he were from San Diego. The whole Cali-beach punk thing is wayyy marketable... if dude were from Omaha, he'd be hella obscure.

Singles 08 is a dissapointment if you compare it to Blood Visions. Its sounds like Jay is running out of ideas, or trying to take the edge/weirdness/fierceness out of his songs. See Saw is ok, but a lot of it sounds watered down somehow.
