Music Shit / Re: MRR ARCHIVES PROJECT -
« on: January 14, 2019, 01:22:39 PM »
This is still being worked on. The company that was doing a lot of the archival work went out of business after doing close to 200 issues. This will happen! do not fear, it's just taking waaaay longer than anticipated.

New Releases For Sale/Distro Updates / Re: more numbskull reissues?
« on: October 20, 2014, 08:40:20 PM »
The LP is just a repress of the one that came out five or so years ago that I already have, the 45 is as far I can tell unreleased and incredible. The art work and lyrics are genius

Does anyone know who's behind the Life Without Buildings reissue?

I think what's your rupture?

Thanks!  REALLY stoked for this.  I love this album, but have never been willing to pay "market price" for the LP.

they were one of the only bands I was excited about watching play the last time I lived in the UK-I got their LP at rough trade, I think it came out when labels were geared towards CDs so hardly pressed any vinyl?

Need that bored games!

Music Shit / Re: Hip me to current San Francisco bands...
« on: February 28, 2014, 10:44:23 PM »
I like Pang (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=414Wy0AMYHk is my favorite song but they have a 45 with this song on it http://pangbandsf.bandcamp.com/ that is really good), Mane (http://manesf.bandcamp.com/track/bloodstone-2) and Scraper (http://scraperband.bandcamp.com/). some of Hannah Lew's bands are cool (Bridge Collapse/cold beat etc) but there is definitely a lapse in actual SF bands now the tech take over of the city is pretty much complete. I feel like most of the bands mentioned in this thread actually live in the east bay...
