His dad died recently and his social media was pretty dark so hopefully it's nothing too crazy. He was always a supreme gentlemen when we hung out. Rest easy sir.

The Atlanta Motel is right the street from East Atlanta Village. It's like $30 a night, but be forewarned.. it's quite "urban". If you can withstand crack hookers and dope heads it's worth it.

Did the improve the abysmal targeting system?! They've had a decade plus to do it.

A crackhead mayor who puts out hits on people who videotape him smoking crack? The type of corruption that makes the Obama administration seethe with jealousy.

So sorry to hear about the demise of your hand held bradley. I myself invested in a Korean contraption known as the Caanoo. It emulates NES, SMS, Genesis, older MAME arcade games and SNES all quite flawlessly. Sadly the company is now defunct. Keep us informed of your Donkey Kong scores. It's riveting.

Initial feeling about the new Oblivians LP is disappointment.  I think this will change with repeated listenings.  I knew that the new songs wouldn't be anywhere near as energetic as the first couple albums, and I know that that's not the sound that they're trying to achieve anymore, but I'm still surprised at how many mid-tempo plodding songs there are.  I've been excited about hearing the "Call the Police" cover for months, and it could have been so rocking given the beat of the original, but the recorded version is pretty tame.  After one run through the only songs that stand out are "Oblivion," "Mama Guitar," and the two Eric songs ("Woke Up in a Police Car" is by far my favorite so far).

Agreed. Sounded pretty anemic to me.
