You guys REALLY need to start an all-ages space in Lafayette.

All of us underagers in Lafayette once had a dream to find a space, hold the coolest shows, and make it UNDER 21 ONLY.  and have a bouncer check ID's and everything....never happened though...

You guys should take over that coffee shop downtown.

We played there once for an outdoor show that got rained out, and it was great. Real fun place to play, attracted an interesting crowd.

Musical tastes aside, it's amazing Lafayette doesn't have a full time all ages venue. There's bands everywhere in that town, (seems everybody you meet has a band) and the citizens are generally supportive of music. Plus there's a real obvious presence of youth culture in the area, skateboarding and such. You'd think some enterprising individual would take advantage of that.

Has anybody in Lafayette tried hitting up the VFW, Knights of Columbus, Elk's Lodge, and those sorta places? Or trying to get shows in other little towns in Indiana? I've played a few places outside of Indy/Lafayette/Bloomington and generally had good experiences.

I'm going to start setting up some serious shows once I get settled in Bloomington.  I've already met a handful of people/venues, keep a look out!
