Pretty sure I was at this show. Milwaukee basement called the Punk Mahal?   I think thats the only place in Milwaukee I saw the reds

Were you at the show at The Couch?

Shit, I bet I was.  Did the Shrubbers play? I'm trying to remember what show it was that Nate stepped on the floor monitor and fell straight on his ass.

Music Shit / Re: Best hardcore records of the 90s?

I'll probably get shit for saying this but:
The Oath 7"
What Happens Next? 7" and 10"
maybe that Dead Nation LP.  Been awhile since I spun that.

All those were like 98 or 99 so just barely 90s records and obviously most people remember them as Y2K Thrash bands. Kinda surprised no one mentioned Los Crudos

Asked Peter and he said it didnt ring a bell but the first band that popped in his brain was Saigon.  Looks like they were from CA though.  https://www.discogs.com/artist/2093000-Saigon-6

Fa Bonx- 49 Stick 7"
Pusrad- Domd 12"
Pusrad- Erarre Humanum Est lp
Pusrad- Smartrams 7"

Good call on those Pusrad records.  Truly some of the best hardcore to come out and for some reason flew under the radar

This has been rocking my world recently. A great mix of early Black Flag and maybe Career Suicide. They have a 7" out which I assume is this demo. Would love a copy. Anybody know anything about them, where they're from, previous bands etc?

Found the discogs page for the 7" https://www.discogs.com/Detainees-Detainees/release/13745383

Diggin' this

So good! It’s some of/most of Life Trap, who always ruled live in the late 2000s No Way-ve of hardcore

Holy shit how did I miss that connection?  Nico's voice is pretty recognizable.  I was shocked that there was hardcore in Nashville but it all makes sense now.
