Honestly, I think the starting pitching for Milwaukee was gassed.  We only had 6 starting pitchers all year.  Granted the Cards have great hitting, but when your pitchers are gassed you ain't gonna stop anyone.  If we would of had the pitching from August I would be wearing a World Series Champ T-Shirt in a week or so.  Oh well.  The Pack still hasnt lost!

This was my first extended viewing of Shawn Marcum. Results aside, didn't like his delivery, his mound presence, the predictability of his pitch selection (durrrr, here comes the changeup out of the strike zone!), none of it.

I didnt watch the whole game cause I get up at 4:00 in the morning and the game started at 8:30 but I will agree with you on all points.  BUT this was way out of the norm for Marcum.  Not sure what the fuck was going on.  I think the pressure got to him.

Loving my Brewers!  I was at the first game and it was the loudest Brewers game I've ever been to.  The city of Milwaukee is all in this year. Glad our 1-2 punch (Braun and Fielder) are rolling right now.  Yo pitched great in game one.  Greinke gave up way too many HR's but the offense kept us in the whole game.  Bullpen has been 100% solid.  As of right now, I'm feeling pretty good about this team.  Just wish Greinke would of pitched better.  But he was on 3 days rest which I dont think he's done all season.  Go Brewers!

How I would like the world to work:

Cards vs Phils, Phils sweep

Brewers vs. D-Backs, Brewers in 4

Tigers vs. Yankees, Tigers in 5

Rays vs. Rangers, Rangers in 5

THEN

Brewers vs. Phils, Brewers in 7

Tigers vs. Rangers, Tigers in 5

THEN

Brewers vs. Tigers, Brewers in 7

Really hope you are right about this.  I'll be at the Brewers game tomorrow!  Can't wait.  BREWERS!

Yeah that first Slant 6 LP is solid.  Totally dig it.  I like Autoclave but there is some filler songs.

I think you mean "that Slant 6 LP ARE solid", no?

Grammar check?

I feel like Autoclave has its moments.  Anyone?  Anyone?

Yes. But both Slant and Helium are better than the sum of their parts.

Honestly, Slant 6 first LP and 45 are my fave post '83 Dischord recs.

Yup.  MKE has a Civil Danger Emergency.  Which means stay off the roads or you're fucked.

Ever since I made my homebrew set-up into a kegging operation, homebrew is all that I've been drinking.  But my german alt is almost out and my oktoberfest has to sit for another month and a half.  So, I'm gonna make a pale ale that hopefully will be done right around the time I run out of the alt.

Whats the story behind this?  I'm not a hockey fan.
www.morphsuits.com

other than that, I have no idea

I think it's a reference to "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" the TV Show on FX

I LITERALLY just gave the answer to this.

These green guys are Vancouver Canucks fans. They sit next to the opposing team's penalty box and attempt to distract/make fun of players. A couple weeks prior to this Leafs/Canucks game, Leaf fans started throwing waffles in utter disgust of the team's play. The green guys wanted to rub it in.

They are quite popular in Vancouver...

Thats pretty fucking awesome.  Sports!
