I didnt know the futures had an 7".  I should go back and listen to that lp.  Have you heard any Romantic Gorilla?  Way too stupid/funny jap. hardcore.  One of my favorites.   Named a band after them...."I Love Wrestler"

white lung lp... Whoa

what is this band all about? i've heard their name a bunch and i saw that they've put some records out on derranged, but i've never seen them anywhere. what is it like?

Yeah that LP rips!  B side is nonstop awesome.  I've heard people say they are a mixture of UK post-punk guitar playing and the rawest riot grrl bands of the '90s.  They are by no means hardcore but would fit in with the hardcore crowd.  The lp version on Atlanta is growing on me.  I think the guitar noodling on the lp version is better but the vocals lack.

What?  Fuck.  That flexi is great.  4 bux is a steal.  I use to see it on ebay all the time.  But I always passed because I thought it only had songs from their 2nd lp.  But its got 2 unreleased songs on the b-side that rule.  Now that I want it, I cant find it.

Yeah I cruise ebay almost everyday looking for their stuff.  The prices change alot.  I bought their 1st lp on red wax for like 15 bucks.  A month before that the same record went for 80 bucks.  I'm still trying to get their flexi.

I emailed Max about that discography.  He said that he kinda fell out of contact with the band.  He said he was gonna try and contact them again and get things going if he could.  But between Eric and myself, I think we own all their records.

I lost my copies of Sick Teen years ago. Suburban Mutilation LP is one of my favorites from adolescence. Was immensely influential on my guitar playing and just in general. My ex and I made SxUxMx shirts in the late 90's. Wish I still had one.

I'm pretty sure you were wearing a SxUxM shirt the first time I ever saw you.  It was at the concert cafe.  The Shrubbers played and bunch of hardcore bands (THC, maybe?) too.
