Music Shit / Re: Hardcore 2017

I don't really like any new hardcore bands but I'm sad Expire is breaking up.

What?  That band is total garbage.  Beat down, mosh pit losers.  I'm from Milwaukee, and these guys are more pathetic than the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks.  That scene is lame as fuck.  MKE is about to bubble over again and it aint gonna sound like this trash.

Super serious question: Are the Wild gonna finally win the cup?

It's almost as if Husker Dudes have a warehouse filled with songs... and stories.

Eww......On behalf of Agg I'd like to say sorry somehow
Don't get me wrong, I apologize... still, I'm never talking to you again.

Seems like you are hardly getting over it.  But seriously its not funny anymore.

Non-Music Shit / Re: Any homebrewers here?

Badass!  I was a tour guide at a brewpub a couple years ago.  All the brewers I worked with were homebrewers before going pro and all didnt brew at home much.  I learned a ton though.  Good luck, if I wasnt a stay at home dad I'd totally be working at a brewery.

The OA was cool.

It hooked me but I'm on the fence on it.  If it doesnt get atleast a 2nd season then I'll be a little disappointed. Those fucking headphones though!

I do 6 gallon batches, and bottle them. Wish we had room for a keg setup, hopefully moving to a bigger place soon and will be able to expand.

Kegging rules!  Not sure how many more years of bottling I could take.  The funny thing is sometimes I get all pissy when I have to clean a keg and taps and then remember how much quicker it is than bottles.  If you got the room for a chest freezer that's the route I'd go.  Way more efficient than a fridge.  I love my setup.

I saw today that David Simon (The Wire) has a new show coming on HBO centered around Times Square in the Seventies. I got really excited about it and then I saw it's starring James Franco. While, the last miniseries, I couldn't really get into, The Wire, Treme, Generation Kill and Homicide is some of the best television dram ever. Hopefully this will truly out Vinyl to shame

Some more info I found:

"The Deuce tells the story of the legalization and ensuing rise of the porn industry in New York beginning in the 1970s and its ongoing rise through the mid-1980s. Themes explored include the rise of HIV, the violence of the drug epidemic and the resulting real estate booms and busts that coincided with the change."

Bummer about Franco.  I liked him in Freaks and Geeks but that role made sense for him.  Most of the stuff he's in is pretty crappy.

Damn, thats awesome.  At my peak I was right around 1-2 a month.  What size batches you make?  Saisons are great and I bet all that fruit you added probably made that one awesome.  How long did you let it sit?

Anyone still brewing?  I think I only made like 2 batches this year.  So busy.  I'll be making a kolsch next week though.  Also need to transfer some cider to bottles.  But thats it.

wish I could get into uranium club but half the time the lyrics are like bad beat poetry and the concepts are kind of corny (third or fourth listen you'll be skipping the unnecessary three minute spoken word track)

That's what I like about them.

The corny lyrics dont bring down the band in my opinion.  Honestly would rather get a chuckle out of them than listen to hardcore bands cry about Trump.

Like look at this cash grab garbage: https://analtrump.bandcamp.com/releases
