LIVE DRAFT DATE/TIME: MARCH 23RD AT 7.30PM WESTERN, SO THAT'S 9.30 CENTRAL AND 10.30 EASTERN. This was the latest date available, there are so many free agents floating around that I wanted the draft to be as last-minute as possible so as to allow for all the wife-swapping in spring training.

I have picked the same format as the last TB league, we can debate that. Everything is up for discussion there, but I want to keep the stats 5 x 5. Even a stats whore like me can glaze over with too much of that shit.

Okay, the fucking Superbowl is over with so REAL sports can now be considered.

I'm volunteering to commish the 2008 Termbo league this year, just wondering if people can show some early interest so that I can get some idea of what I'm in for.

I am a fan of the 5 x 5, head-to-head style that was pioneered by the 2007 league.

I plan on being an active commish, and I'm totally open to suggestions on how to set things up so as to keep the whole league interested this year without dragging 3-4 corpse-teams around by their necks for the last 3 months of the season. I'm especially interested in fostering more (ANY) trade action, there was not a single trade last year just endless waiver wire pickups.

So it's official, the gilded age of the last 4-5 years is dust. The Dow shit the bed this morning and all the freshly minted "millionaires" are looking for that escape rocket to Mars.

Anyone get hurt by this downturn yet? I'm still getting cwazee money for CDs on ebay, so not me. My job is funded by Fed research money so basic that if they cut it, they would probably be shuttering NASA the following week and turning out the lights at the Smithsonian the week after that, so I don't need to start hoarding propane and canned food just yet.

At least gas is gonna get cheaper over the next few months.
