Same as a lot of you: Dug Painful a lot when it came out, saw em a bunch in the mid 90s. They were good exactly half the time.

Always thought the best part of their shows were the covers. I remember a killer version of the Clean song "Dont Point That Thing at Me" on a night when David Kilgour was on the bill but bailed (or couldnt get into the country).

Dont mind not knowing which side is A or B, but I HATE not knowing what speed to play it on beforehand.

Thanks! The snippet of that live cover of Cherry Cherry at the end of Untitled II (I think) is such tease. Would kill to hear the whole thing.

Took the Greyhound from NC to Detroit once. The driver got lost somewhere in West Virginia. How do you get lost? Its just the interstate. Missed a connection in Cleveland so got to spend the night in a chair in the station. The pain killers i was carrying came in handy...

did it once and did not smoke for about 2 years and a half up until my then girlfriend dumped me.

Same thing happened to me. Funny how break ups lead to smoking again. I looked at it as lazy yet expensice suicide.

In all honesty, best way to do it is to not live with smokers.

Agreed, Ride a Dove rules and isnt hard to find. I think the Audible Hiss double 7 was the first Harry Pussy I ever heard. Still dig it tho i go to the planet records 7 and the first Siltbreeze lp more often than the others, but theyve both been comp'd, yeah?

Picked up a copy of the twin infinitives reissue last week to replace the shitty cd version i picked up way back in '92/93. Looks and sounds 100 times better.  I would like like to know how it sounds next to the original vinyl version.
