Great to see the Native Cats full lengther finally get the vinyl treatment - fantastic album. The cats have just recently recorded their second album too. Haven't heard it yet, but I've been mighty impressed with the newies I've heard at their live shows over the last year or so.

The singer from the Celibate Rifles has this spot on SBS national television talking about football: Damo's fan corner.
Is he still doing this? I haven't seen him on SBS since the last world cup. Don't forget his other claim to fame either:

'Blind Ear' was my first ever punk album, but anything prior to that is worth checking out - 'Platters Du Jour' is probably a good start for the uninitiated. 'Summer Holiday Blues' would have to be my fave Rifles track and the perfect summer tune too.

Nice lads and great tunes. Based on their last couple of shows and some of the newer stuff they've been playing, they just keep getting better and better in my opinion. I may be biased but between Always On and the two tunes off the 7" I'd put the Cats up there in my top ten for 09, easily OZ releases anyway - check em out termbos.

A tragic loss. For me, like so many on here, the guy truly defined the last decade and he had an amazing ability to re-define his own sound, one that wil be sorely missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends most of all.

The Homosexuals, English Singles, San Francisco Water Cooler @ Brohemian Grove in Davis

SFWC are still around!? Are they ever going to release anything other than that 12" that came out a few years ago? Here's hoping anyway.

Seeing the Oh Sees and ECSR in Sydney a few weeks ago is at the top of my list. Next up would have to be Lightning Bolt in my home town.

Paypal'd - that first Balaclavas LP was a corker, so this one's a no brainer. Finally picked me up some Hot Sex whilst I was at it too.

Yep, paypal'd. Loving the Teepee LP too. Like the last Teepee cassette it's a bit more eclectic, but still has a sound of its own that somehow ties it all together - great stuff Eric.

No probs - thanks for the update. I also sent you an email.

A bummer to hear you're closing up shop too! I guess I'll have to start buying up more Night People cassettes for my fix now.

November's list (and the last for this tape klub) has been sent, so check your emails. Thanks again to the regular traders and also the non regulars like Dave, who sent me a tape. And if anyone else on here wants to get a new tape club happening sometime and start another thread, feel free to deal me in too.

Been out for a year or two already but I only recently picked this up with some other Minimal Wave records - one of my fave min/cold/whatever wave releases in a good while and one of the label's flagships in my opinion.

Also had a soft spot for this one - Jimmy Somerville meets John Carpenter!

Or at least find it somewhat entertaining

Finally got round to giving your tape a decent listen on the weekend. Man, can't get much more diverse than Magic Lantern to Mono Men to... is that Beyonce? And long long time no hear 'Uncertain Smile'. The perfect summer BBQ tape - thanks Dave.
Got mine off to you yesterday by the way Eric.
