I liked it personally. Maybe I'm just projecting, but I don't feel like they were trying to be trailblazers by playing a song that sounds like "Wild Thing". The resemblance is undeniable.  They were obviously aware of it. I think that everybody should be able to handle criticism, but I also believe that that person has the right to repudiate it.

i can fully handle criticism... i actually like it a lot and seek it out when it's constructive or even mildly valid... i just don't really ignore people saying narrow-minded shit like "yet another in a series of bands i never needed to hear to know they sucked." totally different. BUT WHATEVER. ok yeah i'm done now. party on.

p.s. still a few "reverse shark attack" LP's left at kill shaman...

No, I know. That's why I added that you should be able to contest criticism that you find invalid. God bless America, mullafuckas!

NHL rinks are tiny. It's weird. I always thought they were huge, but when I was like 9 years old I got to play at the Fleet Center in Boston (now has some other weird name), and it was barely bigger than the rinks I played on in youth league. When you play hockey at full pace it must suck only having that much room to move the puck. I scored a back-handed goal that day and they showed it on the Jumbotron during the Bruins game that night. I felt like the fucking man. Still kinda do.

Does OT in the Olympics have 5 skaters or 4 skaters like in the NHL?

This is the case since if the Gold medal game ends in a tie, the match will be decided by the number of points your team has scored in all of your games.

Wait, I didn't know that. That fucking blows. Do they not even play one period of overtime? I missed the game today, but I did get a peek of it, and the camerawork appeared to be infinitely better than the usual NHL camerawork. I would say that probably has an effect how watchable it is. Then again the NHL's budget is fucking terrible, so I would imagine they can't afford a good camera crew (certainly not up to Olympic standards).

what do you mean by the 5 years later thing.

The first time Cooper has a dream he is in the "Lodge" and later they say that he is 25 years older in that dream. I won't spoil the "ending" of the show for those who haven't seen it, but it leaves room for it to pick up from that point.

ii forget if that actually comes up on screen in the 3rd or 4th episode that sequence is used in and not just in the pilot, which is deemed to be 'not the real story' after the first hour.

It's in Episode 2 technically, but it's actually episode 3 if you count the pilot.

Actually, changed my mind, my favorite character is Duchovny's Agent Dennis.

I actually just watched Twin Peaks for the first time two months ago. It was actually my sisters DVD so I went on a bender and watched all the episodes in one weekend because I had to give it back the following Monday. Some of the story lines are pretty terrible (but amusing) and I'd say most of the actors are subpar, but David Lynch is enough of a reason to love this show. Word on the street is that Kyle Maclachlan wants to bring back Twin Peaks in 5-minute "webisodes" without David Lynch. I loved Kyle Maclachlan in the show compared to other characters, but that sounds unbearable. I'm just waiting for David Lynch to start filming the show where it left off (its almost been the 25 years we were promised). My favorites would definitely have to be any of the FBI agents (Maclachlan, Lynch, Ferrer) and of course, Deputy Hawk. A great Truman line: "If just any FBI agent came into my department talking that kind of crap he'd be looking for his teeth four blocks up on Queer St." Oh, and fuck Billy Zane. That nearly ruined it for me. Also David Bowie's American accent is unbearable in Fire Walk With Me.

Saw it on their myspace. A-side is apparently one track with the live recording of Quadrospazzed and B-side is etched. Coming out on Castle Face. 1000 copies. I have nothing to do with this. Just thought people might want to know.
