Last time I talked to Petey, at So Raw, he said he still copies. I was amazed, cause I'm pretty sure most people assumed it had sold out, I think copies have already sold on ebay and shit.

Wylie is busy reading and working on the Great American Novel.  He's got better things to do than drink Joose, go to crummy punk shows and hang out with you ruffians.

I've just been busying with summer school and moving. Both of which finished this week. Down to drink Joose, chill, and listen to obscure powerpop with everyone at Megans anytime now. Love and Kisses.

Weird, just read that for the first time last week. Yeah, I know it was a high school staple, but not in mine. Interesting character, that Caufield.

A night ago I finished Salinger's Nine Stories. One of those short story collections I'd been meaning to read for years. Made me think of it. If you dug Catcher I think you'd really like the stories.

Kava Kava is awesome!  Yes is does something. The quality of the herb is important. You gotta get the Nakamal.  Did your tongue go numb when you drank it? If it didn't, it probably didn't have the good stuff (or enough stuff) in it.  I'd try that drink... I'll keep my eyes peeled.  

Sweet. Thank you. I'm going to look around for some then and give the real stuff a shot. No my tongue didn't go numb, but I read reports online from people who said it did, maybe it has to do with with sensitivity. I remember the amount of actual kava in the drink was way less then what people actually use otherwise.

I found this at the 711 the other day and gave it a shot, it seems there's a whole bunch of these "anti-energy" drinks coming on the martket:

Read this recently. Some of the tightest, most well-crafted short stories detailing violence I've ever read. Very good shit. The novella was just okay.


Halfway through this. Some good ones, but mostly depressing and too sprawling. Repressed homosexuality. Bleh.

I think it's a pretty solid LP. Time Bomb High School is pretty hard to top in my book. But the songs 'Trash Talk' and that gypsyish ballad 'Banker and a Liar' are damn fucking good.
