Yeah Floridas Dying is getting some. I'm sending you and the rest of Miami a copy though, it'll be in the mail tomorrow.

Thanks for the kind words and orders! Bunch of these shipped out yesterday and today. The rest will be shipped this week. Almost out of the white vinyl, if anyone's still interested.

Pic on th weird hug page is from a nobunny show.
My buddy Petey from Miami took it. I always loved that picture, had it saved as my desktop background for forever. I should have asked you for permission too. Is it okay I use it?

That's a crazy nice camera they shot you with! Knew a guy who had an 8x10 Deardorff and he loved that thing more than his wife.

My problem w/ United is that I only get the vinyl records themselves done there(w/out covers) and when they package them for shipping, they stuff too many in there(maybe not all the way cooled, either??) and the records on the ends warp. Also, they can never tell me how long I can expect to wait for the records to arrive...
This has been my exact same problem with United. Consistently, it keeps happening with every order. It's really a shame because other than that, working with them has been a breeze.

I've been hearing a lot about Pirate Press, does anyone here have experience with them? It's appealing that they do the sleeves too, which could make things simpler.

Non-Music Shit / Re: existential movie endings

Wong Kar Wai can also get pretty existential.  Start with IN The Mood For Love and 2046.
Agreed. But start with Days of Being Wild. All three of that "trilogy" have a great existential thing going on.

Easy Rider has a pretty abrupt ending, not sure how existential it is though.

Some others:
Paris, Texas
Naked
Stalker
Werkmeister Harmonies
La Dolce Vita

I'm going to go rewatch two lane blacktop now. I forgot how amazing that ending was.

did anybody have a dreamcast?
I had one forever ago. I think I only ever had sonic adventure 1 & 2 for it, which I remember to be a lot of fun.

Seconded on the Super Mario World being the best game ever. I grew up playing SNES and really dug Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III, they're SNES role playing games and are completely addicting and fun if you're into that sort of game.

Cities / Re: Miami shit
« on: May 06, 2009, 12:44:49 PM »
Yeah I would recommend Bayside as well, for walking around and enjoying yourself. There or Coconut Grove / Cocowalk area. I'd stay away from the whole Lincoln Road / South Beach thing, as its just ridiculously pricey and full of assholes, unless of course you want to see the beach.

Danny and Victor would definitely show you a good time.

Wnkrs sends me a text every time he masturbates to a certain girl.

Personally, I think all best friends should adopt this system as its always fucking hilarious.
