Music Shit / Re: Saddest songs ever

Ever since I was a little kid, "Both Sides Now" written by Joni Mitchell, but sung by Judy Collins. Right now? "You Didn't Try To Call Me" by the Mothers of Invention (you bitch!) and "Motel Blues" by Louden Wainwright III (feeling OLD!). Big Star's version is tops as well.

little green by joni mitchell is sadder, I think...but they are both sad

career suicide are rippers.

I'm all about the Cherry Beach EP. So good. I want to like Mad Men too (Mike, I think (probably wrong) EDIT: I'm a dumb idiot. It's Jonah. Thanks, Malto., from FU), but every time I put it on I zone out. I don't know why. The first few seconds sound good!

it's all about the SARS ep simon. very "raw". I can definitely "hear the SARS desperation".

I dunno, I definitely am interested in trying it again with a different batch although I'd prefer to just head up to Peru and drink some Ayahuasca.

yeah do that instead it rules but do it with a shaman don't just buy it, that is very important

Denis Johnson's 'Tree of Smoke' and Jonathan Lethem's 'Fortress of Solitude' are both worth checking out.

I haven't read "fortress of solitude" but denis johnson really rules.
