got a quart of pozole and a dozen tamales yesterday and we're making dessert empanadas for santa all day tomorrow! I'm sorry I know cubans love to put meat and stuff in your empanadas but it's all about the fruit.

Over the last 2 months I was in 42 different cities in the U.S.

I Think they mostly blend together but I gotta say Vegas really stands out as truly terrible.
L.A. was pretty bad too. Also add on Indianapolis, Wichita Kansas and Phoenix AZ.
But definitely Vegas was the worst.

I'll second wichita. It's the worst place out there, just tons of bible colleges and the downtown has all these weird bronze statues of children on their knees looking like they're about to s some d. creepy. also saw some old people getting hustled out of 40$ by a crazy guy.

Just got the E-Bunniez LP yesterday, spun it a few times and like it. Not sure about the ranking of stuff in order and shit, though. But this was their first release where I didn't already know the songs ahead of time. Definitely fits into the s-gaze cannon, I suppose, but it sounds really good and there are lots of (especially) vocal hooks.

totally enjoyable good times and best packaging of the year

You are wrong.  Don't you remember the "release show" when we had to walk to the Faghaus from the red line and it was storming and everybody got soaked?  That was in February, and the record wasn't even out yet.

oh yeah, worst release show ever, no offense guys. sorry about the confusion. in that case ADD THE BUNDLE 7" to my best of list.

Yeah, Mantles LP is awesome, and so is that Greg Cartwright live LP. From the ones that hasn't been mentioned yet: Bare Wires LP, Mean Jeans LP,

What's the deal with Mantles? listened to it and thought it was totally meh. Bare Wires rules but the new Test Patterns is wwaaaaaay better.

Yeah that First base I've got a girl 7" was also a delight, was that this year?

Woke up today at noon, stayed in bed snuggling until 1:00. Made chocolate chip pancakes. Caught up on 30 Rock. Listened to the new Electric Bunnies and Jacuzzi Boys records for the first time. Ate a delicious deli sandwich and later I'm going out for indian food before seeing School Jerks and the Daily Void.
