THE ONIONS long awaited, HIGHLY anticipated vinyl debut is finally here!
Recorded and co-produced by Michael Zink (Mystery Girls, Hue Blancs Joyless Ones).
Packaged in a nice full color picture sleeve designed by Bob Scott (Mongrel Zine).

Two great songs.
One is about aliens.
One is about getting fucked up until the sun comes up.

I've been telling anyone that will listen how great these guys are.
Aaron has sent me the last 3 Day Creeper demos.
I totally understand what TTT means by them never really fitting into whatever everyone else is listening to.

It's hard to put a finger on what makes them so good.
Maybe it's the simplistic melodies that are never overplayed...
Maybe it's the brilliant lyrics and vocals that never sound phony or contrived...

I LOVE two or three songs from each demo.
"Looming Catastrophe" from the cassette is tops.
I listened to that song well over 100 times this past summer while driving around delivering Chinese food.
"Allergic Myself", "Violent Dreams",  "Strange Perversions" and "You Look So Honest In Those Jeans", all from their latest October 2011 demos would make a KILLER 7"....
Maybe they will appear on the LP?!?!?

I can't wait to hear the full length.

Thee Insects DID rule, albeit 15 years ago.

An unleased LSOK 7" would make a lot more sense.

"Ready Aim Fire" IS most worthy of being on a record.

Like him or not.... Officer Brad X played on some amazing recordings documenting the demented youth of midwestern America in the mid to late 1990's/early 2000's...
How many people on termbo would buy a 7" that Officer Brad played on circa 1997?!?!?

The band is "Thee Insects"...

I'm seriously considering releasing a 7" by Thee Insects...
