Certified PR Records is proud to announce our first LP, "Steal My Mind" by John Wesley Coleman III is now available.
After a few tie ups with Mr. Warren Zevon's lawyers - it has finally arrived.
Recorded at Laguna Studios in Austin TX, JWC's summer jam 2009 was... "10 hours, eleven songs, 2 bottles of Bullet Bourbon, 100 beers, a carton of smokes, marijuana & stuff and Chinese food and good friends altogether to make this live shit..."

...Just wanted to let people know there is a small change in the Certified PR Records release schedule.
The People's Temple "You Don't Know" 7" 3 song EP - CPR009 is running about a month behind schedule, but is still happening SOON and should be ready by trick or treat time. They also have a 7" coming out on HoZac. I'm not sure which record will actually come out first (HoZac or CPR) - but both slabs of wax are gonna kick your ass! 500 copies... Like always, we'll do something stupid like make 100 copies with a different cover or some other gimmick.

Anyways... The reason The People's Temple is being delayed is because the John Wesley Coleman "Steal My Mind" LP (CPR010) is in the works NOW!!!!
This record is so fucking good... Don't take my word for it - check out the first track, "Tonight" on our myspace page. In the meantime, pick up his other solo records and his stuff with the Golden Boys!
United has the disc and I expect the test pressing(s) in the normal 2-3 weeks. When then test pressings get approved we'll start taking pre-orders. There will 300 copies to start with. Hopefully people like it and there will be enough of a demand to repress it and keep it in stock!
We're shooting for a mid-to-late October release date on this one.

In other news:
We still have about 10 copies of the LIMITED EDITION RED VINYL Love City "I Can't Stop" EP and bonus CD's left. You can order one at www.certifiedprrecords.c om !

After a long haitus, I have decided to start up the distro again.

A change in my work schedule will allow me to spend more time concentrating on the label and distro.

Tommy Smut will be us helping design a new website soon, which will include a mailorder page with shopping cart buttons for paypal users.

The Reacharounds "Rocks Off" EP will be gone very soon.
There's about 20 BLUE VINYL and 20 GREEN VINYL copies left.
United sent me back the plates last week.... no more repress....
Final scum stats:
100 CLEAR VINYL (with black covers)
200 BLACK VINYL (with white covers)
100 BLUE VINYL (with blue covers)
100 GREEN VINYL (with green covers)

Certified PR Records will be releasing the CD version of the new Plexi 3 record, "Times Of Change" in mid-March.
The LP (vinyl) version will released by Bachelor Records.
Hopefully this project will be completed by the time Kimmie and I leave for SXSW.

After SXSW we will start working on the new Tokyo Electron LP which will be a split label release with FDH Records.
We're looking at an early summer release date.
