This record is soooo good - I can't believe that there's still TWO of the limited copies available for sale.
Does anyone that already got their copy wanna say something about it?
Like/Dislike?

Here's a cheesy promo video I made a few months ago for one of the songs - "Bye Bye Baby Goodbye"

UPDATE:

Preorders have been CRAZY!
The odds of winning one of the test pressings are getting better - there have been A LOT of multiple "LIMITED EDITION PEE YELLOW VINYL" orders!!!

Good news for you if haven't ordered yet:

My email account crashed after sending only 100 of over 700 emails!
(Apparently Yahoo doesn't like the word "Fuckin'" in the subject field).

When I finally get all of the emails out, later tonight (HOPEFULLY), I anticipate the remaining LIMITED copies to go quick.

THE FUCKIN' BONESHAKERS
FREE TEST PRESSING GIVEAWAY
*************************************

We are giving away ONE FREE TEST PRESSING to two lucky Certified PR customers.
There were only 5 test pressings made so these are kinda rare!

For a chance to win - All you need to do is PREORDER the LIMITED EDITION PEE YELLOW COLORED VINYL and your name will be added to our drawing.

The drawing will take place as soon as the limited edition has sold out OR July 1, 2011 - which ever date comes first.

There will only be 200 copies pressed on PEE YELLOW vinyl.
The band is getting 40 copies and CPR is keeping 2 copies, so participants will have a 2 in 158 chance (or better) to win!

If you order mutliple PEE YELLOW copies your name will be added once for every copy purchased (up to 5 name entries per customer).

One test pressing per customer.

In the event that the same name is drawn twice we will draw for another winner.

Winner(s) outside of the United States will be required to pay for postage, which is $14.00 USD for one LP (of course we will offer a shipping discount if other items are purchased).

If an international winner chooses not to pay for postage and declines the free test pressing we will draw for an alternate winner.

Winners will be contacted via email shortly after the drawing is held.

The winning names will be announced on Terminal Boredom.

Ever not listen to band because of shitty artwork?

Nice Face (Hozac single)

For the exact opposite reason I gave the Cunt Puppet record on Sack O Shit a chance.
It turned out to be rather cheeseball, way too far over the top obnoxious.

I nearly passed on Pink Reason due the Criminal I.Q. repressed version of their debut 7", but I listened to it anyways after meeting Kevin at my parent's in Manitowoc about 5 or 6 years ago.... he's a much cooler dude than that 7" cover would indicate.

52
I'm not a regular on Termbo so this subject might have already come up, but...
Have you ever not listened to a band just because their name blows?

I think this to myself everytime I see the band "Humpy" in old punk mags.
I think those dudes were on Beer City back in the day, which is probably another reason I passed on them.

HEADS UP!

The preorders for the LIMITED EDITION version have been CRAZY!!!!!
I only have 9 copies left so don't delay - ORDER ONE NOW...
The regular edition is going fast too (a lot of people have been ordering one of each).
After Midheaven/Revolver places their order it might be sold out.

Obviously, first come - first serve.

I have a ton of stuff coming up on CPR so a possible repress would be months away.

Also the mailorder has been selling out of stuff left and right.

Check out the reasonable prices and pad your order to save on shipping!

Thanks again,
Steve/CPR

Other than the Certified PR Records showcase here's my favorite memories of the week...

1. Friday night at Cheer Up Charlies!

When we got to C.U.C.'s the Pine Hill Haints were playing the "small" stage.
My wife and I both LOVE the 'Haints!
What a pleasant surprise to run into them again!!!
After the Haints, on the other stage we saw Women In Prison, Rayon Beach, Personal & The Pizzas, Shannon & The Clams and a ton of other bands.

I was able to get up on the stage to watch and videotape the Davilla 666 and King Tuff sets!
KING TUFF FUCKIN' RULES!!!!!!!

There were people smoking green seemingly everywhere.

I drank some crazy "hunch punch" with a strange latino.

I met longtime Certified PR fan Jens Keller and his friend.

Our friends Jesse and Brent from The Onions were hanging with us this night.
Brent is the funniest drunk I've ever met!
He drank AT LEAST 15 tall cans (after drinking about a case the night before and getting about 2 hours of "sleep").
On the walk back to the car he yelled funny shit like "Look - Justin Bieber, over there!" and "Kanye, I just saw Kanye!!!" HILARIOUS!!!
He also danced with a huge robot on 6th Street and did the Michael Jackson "smooth criminal lean" while walking up the huge hill on San Jacinto between 7th and 8th(?)! We have videos!

2. Wednesday night at Trailer Space Records: Burger Records Showcase.
That whole day and night was insane, but Bad Sports were my favorite.
Per my request they played "Not A Creep"... WOW!
One of thee best bands right now!
Spot estimated there were about 1,500 people at his record store that night.
So many old friends and good bands, so hot and stinky, so much beer... this is what SXSW is all about!

3. Thursday day show at Vain Salon: Ramma Lamma, Mickey and others.
The hot Texas sun mixed with a mild hangover couldn't ruin seeing two of my favorite bands in the backyard of Penny's salon.

Other bands we saw and really liked:
WHITE MYSTERY!!!!! If you haven't already, you NEED to check them out - SO GOOD!!!!!
Wax Museums - One of the better sets I've seen them perform... Dang Paul got skinny!
Jaill - ALWAYS WRONG!!!!
Unholy Two - Columbus mad men!!!
Cheap Time
Gentleman Jesse (with new drummer) - They played half of their upcoming LP!
and I even enjoyed the Summer Twins

Worst band of the week:
La Sera - two thumbs down. Worse than their record if that's possible...

Worst showcase(s):
Volar Records showcases at Trailer Space, with the exception of Wax Museums and Unholy Two (why were these great bands on those bills?!?!)
I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but I think pretty much everyone hated all of the other bands on those lineups and hung out outside (complaining) most of the time.

Wanted to see but missed:
Trouble In Mind Showcase - We helped bail The Onions out of van problems and got there too late.
Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees - Big bummer, but I saw them about three weeks ago in my hometown.
Dirtnap Showcase - We flew out Saturday afternoon and missed a KILLER lineup.
Most regrettably we did not see Alicja Trout and the River City Tanlines...

Stuff that got stolen or lost:
1 x 20' microphone cable
1 x decent microphone (Samson Q7)
2 x 4 track cassettes... yeah, someone swiped the Outer Minds and Love Collector 4-track tapes from the "mixing" table...
1 x stack of Tokyo Electron "AZ238" limited repress LP's
1 x stack of Plexi 3 "Tides Of Change" cd's
6-8 T.E. LP's and about 5 Plexi 3 cd's "disappeared" from the merch table at the end of the night.... classy y'all!

The SXSWes EDITION repress of the John Wesley Coleman III "Steal My Mind" LP is here!
There are only 100 hand numbered copies with special "paste-on" covers and a lyric sheet insert (that was not included in the 1st pressing).
These will be for sale at the Certified PR Records SXSW Showcase 2011 at Trailer Space Records - Thursday, March 17th (7:15 pm).
Come by and say hello...

If there are any left I will put them up on the CPR website when we get back.

When this LIMITED batch of 100 is gone, a regular repress on Certified PR will follow.
"Steal My Mind" has been sold out for about 5 months waiting for a Goner Records reissue which apparently is no longer going to happen.

I'm sorry to all the people who waited around for months for nothing, but moving forward I'll do my best to keep it in print on CPR.
