New Releases For Sale/Distro Updates / Re: Spits / NOFX split 7
« on: December 16, 2010, 12:17:55 PM »
Mate!  I think that NOFX probably get more exposure from doing this than the Spits do.
Really?
I love The Spits, infact they're one of my favorite bands, so this is not a cheap shot at them, but this "limited" record probably sold more copies than all The Spits records to date combined.

I'm kinda surprised to see how many people are shitting on this record just because of NOFX.
Like them or not, NOFX is probably better than "their" (meaning the complainers) shitty band, if they even have one.
Jealousy is a motherfucker...
I'd be willing to bet a good majority of termbros liked NOFX back in the 90's.
They still tour and keep putting out records.
I haven't bought a NOFX record since about 1996 (other than this split), but for what it's worth - they sound pretty much the same as I remembered.

I like The Spits side.
"Wait" is a good song.
Anyone that hasn't heard it and wants to argue, I'd be glad to send you the free mp3 rips I made.

Why would anyone knock The Spits for potentially expanding their fanbase?
This kind of hipster elitism has existed for years and is just stupid.
These are the same assholes that bitched about the Black Lips on Conan, Jay Reatard signing to Matador or anyone "cool" that has ever tried to better themselves.

The Spits have been doing their thing (very well) for years and I'm happy to see they got some exposure!

SHIT... that's right...
I forgot to mention the LIMITED EDITION two record set, duh!
This fucker is gonna RULE - COLLECTOR SCUM BE WARNED!!!
I'll let Eric explain the details, but people should still preorder the "Tiger" 7" so you can get the FREE CPR sampler CD-R.
Plus, the band and both labels will have only 25 sets each so you're gonna have to be the nerdy termbo stalker type and hope you have cash in the bank the day we unleash them....
85
Hello once again vinyl collectors,
We are now taking preorders for our final record of 2010.
CPR015: Ramma Lamma "Tiger" 7" EP

For those of you that don't already know... RAMMA LAMMA RULES!!!!

Wendy Norton (guitar/vocals/bass), Ryan King (guitar/vocals/bass) and Joel Kopp (drums) from Milwaukee, WI have been in so many great bands over the years it would take me forever to type them all!
One thing is for certain - listening to Ramma Lamma will make you wanna party like it's 1975!
Think glam... Think powerpop... Think 1970's Saturday morning cartoon funk....
Really, the only thing you should be thinking about is how many copies you're gonna need because YOU WILL NEVER WANT THIS RECORD TO LEAVE YOUR TURNTABLE!!!

A1. Tiger Don't Change It's Stripes
A2. Good Tyme Johnny
B1. Truthin'
B2. Kiss You

Not only will this likely be one the best sounding records in your collection, it will also be one of the coolest looking!

Hello vinyl enthusiast,
Certified PR Records is proud to announce:
CPR014 - Brimstone Howl/Hell Shovel split 7" is now ready for pre-orders!

Each band contributes an amazing original track, exclusive to this 7" vinyl release.

Brimstone Howl are from Omaha, Nebraska.
They have a reputation for being a prolific, hard working, touring band.
They already have three full length LP's on Alive Records and have 7" releases on Boom Chick Records, Rob's House Records, P.Trash Records and others...
"Cross Wind" is a dark floor stomper with a strong 'Stones influence... Brimstone Howl at their best!

Hell Shovel from Canada are Jeff Clarke (Demon's Claws), Dale Totello and Chotico Xextecesx.
Their sound can be described as twisted psych noise with a melody.
Telephone Explosion released their debut record last year.
"Stealing Candy" hmmm... I wonder what this song is about?!?!

Release date: December 6, 2010
500 copies on randumbly mixed colored vinyl
