Music Shit / Re: Rap / Hip-Hop 2016

Good to hear that new Danny Brown is good.  Was starting to think that his new Juggalo fan base had eroded any good musical sensibilities.

...both are scummy Detroit scrubs. You can hate ICP but they aren't fake shit, even if they faked it early on. To quote John Cena quoting some rapper- "real recognize real".

PIMP C is that rapper, or he at least made it his, Trill recognize Trill.

Howard Stern is an institution, he will always be a "thing".

Much as I love lemmy, the rock and roll excess legend that was built up around him is embarrassing and dangerous bullshit.

Honestly, if you've moved to a city that you are not from, especially within the past couple years, and are trying to buy a house there, you ARE the problem.

I disagree with that. But then again I didn't buy a house in Austin. I am more concerned with how good the school district is more then I am with how cheap the beer is. But then again you're probably right, I am the fucking problem. HA!

Quote
Lots of people are moving to Bastrop and Lockhart and Pflugerville, etc. It will be the same thing.

I actually have 10 acres in Lockhart I bought 5 years ago. I'm holding out to cash-in in the next few years. That place is BOOMING!

I live in the burbs just on the outskirts of Austin, and I fucking love it. We bought a house in Cedar Park. My wife and I were somewhat pushed out of the city when we were looking, we're originally from Houston which has become obscenely expensive in the last 5 years or so. If you really want to "feel" how bad it has gotten in the cities, try buying a house. You'll be outbid with "cash" offers and people offering 20% or more over the asking price, which is ALREADY inflated. I don't get it.

Side note: check out city-data.com they have posts there that go into great detail about this

Speaking of POTY check out these two kids. http://www.youtube.com/user/KidsInterviewBands. They interview some pretty good bands IMO too.

I tried exposing my daughter to my musical tastes and she gravitated to some, but most she did not. What I have found is that I have been tricked by her into liking her music. I fucking love Lady GaGa, and I know the words to a few One Direction hits.

Cities / Re: Houston: Kingwood Elementary Schools
« on: April 13, 2012, 02:32:59 PM »
They're great. My daughter was there for a year. Some of the best schools in the Houston area. Even the schools in Porter are leaps and bounds better then HISD. Also they have dual language in Kingwood. Take full advantage of that. My kid can speak more spanish then I can. She can have a conversation with someone in Spanish. That was just one year!

People in this country are quite literally collectively deranged. Total insanity on all fronts, even dietary.

No they're not. You live in a fuck-tard city. I never experience this where I live. Move to the country, it's fucking great and you don't hear things like "fad diets" or "Angelina Jolie".
