The Clean are playing in London at the ICA on Wednesday 19th May 2010.  It says they're doing a UK tour but I can't see any dates other than Brighton on the 12th.

yea, i think they're opening for pavement on one of the brixton nights that aren't sold out, tempted only coz i still got a 20quid b-day ticketmaster voucher but know other people going on the wooden shjips night, fucken corporate rock

Music Shit / Billy Childish on recording theory
« on: February 12, 2010, 09:13:46 AM »
This is a write up of an interview I did with Billy Childish on his theories about recording music.

http://www.audioprointernational.com/features/188/Interview-Billy-Childish

I have the full interview written out, but it is 15 pages and I can't be fucked to edit it all.
so shout me if you want the full document or an MP3 of the audio.

contact me at: ahlowdown@hotmail.com

It is a really good interview, so I am happy to spread it around.

Peace

http://www.dieantwoord.com/

my sources via the SA bush telegraph tell me "die antwoord" is part of a bigger picture ie: max normal, max normal TV
heres the wiki wiki info

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Normal.tv

this dude has been around in SA for a while and "die antwoord" is a new project so to speak .

there is also this site which is a little swish and trendy but can give an insight into SA music, dont expect miracles but there are some gems t obe found for the open minded

One of the best bands i saw there last time was a afrikaans death metal band called INSEK
they ruled

the punkers were mostly into either extremes like SxE HxC or pop punk which is cool, hard to find a middle ground sometimes, emo is big i guess

Like I wrote: Mall Punk.
