Bummed: My friend told me that he saw a copy of Axemen's 3 Versions at Other Music the other day for 15$ used. Went there before they opened and waiting today and it was already gone. So, I'm not listening to that! Wish friends had enough money and knew to always purchase stuff that I'm obsessed with when they see it and then I'd pay them for it.

Fuck!  That's terrible.  Great, great band.  I need a reasonably priced copy of this too.  Even lacking funds or certainty in your music wants, they should have given you a call.  My ex used to do that for me when she stumbled on something I might like.  More often than not, it wasn't a real want or it wasn't worth the cash but it is still nice to have someone give you a rapid heads up.

(I haven't heard any of these guys other stuff, but this record, which is a stab at home made techno with regular old live drums and synths is real great shit. It's deep, dirty, distorted and fucked up house punk. Listening to it makes me with I was DJing at that moment. Everyone's minds would be blown.)

Which one is this?  I remembering giving "African Rhythms" a listen after seeing them play with Cluster in LA a year or two ago.  I really hate that dudes voice but the music can get pretty wild and fun in parts.
