Music Shit / Re: Eat Skull - Wild & Inside

Are you going to up this for me or what? Stop being so precious about the masterpiece, and hand it over to more unforgiving ears.

I've heard a couple of tracks off it, and it sounds great.

Can anyone up this for me, please? I'm not going to buy it unless I hear it first, so spare me the melodramatic 'downloading is satan' litanies. Besides, I rarely download albums that I can buy, I'm just a bit skint at the moment. Please?

Where can you download this? I don't want to buy it unless I hear first, as their debut was a bit meh. Soulseek doesn't seem to work well on my PC, so if there are any blogs that have it, let us know. Thanks.

Thank you, but the link on the blog that has it doesn't work. Nevermind.

Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" - Just awful. This has always been one of those records that people assume I love because I'm a "pop guy" but I can't stand this shit. I'm all fine with being a wimp, but being a fucking whiny ass pussy is, as I tell elementary school kids, not OK. Listening to this makes me want to reach into the stereo and give Brian Wilson something to cry about. Perhaps one of the most puzzling sacred cows in all of rock. There's nothing beautiful or revolutionary about this turd, it's just a bunch of limp ballads with atrocious lyrics. A fucking abomination.

Wise words.

That record irritates me so much for simple words. There's loveliness, and then there's saccharine-like bullshit like 'Pet Sounds'. I've become suspicious of any band that claims the Beach Boys as a major influence. Blueprint my arse. There is such a thing as music which becomes a BAD influence on humanity.

I haven't listened to many records in the past week or so, which is a very unusual thing for me, but today I put  Drunkdriver's 'Born Pregnant' on my mp3 player (crappy digitized version I've managed to create), the sun was shining, and suddenly everything is well with the world. Or maybe not.

I think that there were two of us that night, and both totally fucked on acid and whatever was available to drink. One of my friends who was heavily into psychcore and dub step broke into the house, and suddenly the ceiling came down on top us all. Good times.

Me, defensive of my girlfriend? I've only lost a job for knocking a customer unconscious for just looking in her direction.

I wasn't even aware you two were an item, so apologies if what I've posted might have been perceived as offensive to someone's girlfriend, which isn't the case at all. I do mean it that the pictures aren't all that, though, but the idea is good.

Anyway, why are you mistaking 'better quality pictures' for 'art pictures'? I've always thought that they're two different things. A good picture of a rock and roll band to me is not art, it's just a good shot of a rock and roll band, that's all. Careful, or you risk coming across like you're being too defensive.

These will definitely end up in a museum someday. It's a revolution in the art of photography.

These would end up in a museum now.

Eric Lastname is as midwest as talking through your nose about perch.

No future generations are gonna dream about pictures of Adam Smasher in a fluffy sweater or a backview of Drunkdriver. If they do, I feel extreme apprehension for the future. This is just meant to be no-big-deal party pics, no? So shut up for christsakes.

Chillax man, criticism doesn't always come in the form of bitchiness. If you can't take it for what it is, what are you doing on this thread telling people to shut up?

Kevin, trust me, it's not Gabriel using this account. Anyway, I think the idea in principle is a very good one, in that it's always good that someone feels like documenting a 'scene', a bunch of bands, or whatever you bitches argue about on here daily. It's just that for the love of lo-fi you shouldn't forget quality, as some of these pictures could have the potential of staying in the form of document for a future generation of punk kids to dream about.  It's just another form of self-respect, really. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you don't shoot me from "my angle" that shit ain't going online.

Last time I've seen a picture of you on here I couldn't see any 'angles' to choose from.

Look, I really doubt Tina is using a broken camera to take pictures. In fact, I'm dead sure she isn't. Give me a break with this lo-fi thing, you can do better than fucking Vice Magazine-quality pictures, and this without coming across as being gay models on the cover of Vanity Fair.
