Digital Leather - Yes, Please. Thank You Cassette
8 new songs! Limited to 200 copies

Defiant, dark, weird- Digital Leather, aka Shawn Foree, is an unflinching subterranean force, compulsively moving against the grain while making some of the most interesting music you've never heard. Electronic goth records for garage labels and hard-to-grasp concept records for larger indie labels keeps DL a free agent, which is a good thing because every record is always different. And there a lot of records.

Yes, Please. Thank You is the first DL record that focuses mainly on a full band sound. Foree has absorbed a lot in his tenure as an artist, and he wrings it out in this album- from punk to darkwave, surf, even afro-beat. The songs are succinct. The sound is big. The tone is bleak. You might want to smash your fist through a wall. You might want to dance like it's the end of the world.

Warm Soda - Reaction 7"

Following the fateful final tour of Bare Wires, front man Matthew Melton rose quicker than Lazarus, assembling a fresh power trio within days of returning to Oakland. Warm Soda retains an urgency honed in the garage, but as their debut single "Reaction," on Southpaw Records illustrates, the tension and restraint of cult power pop has seemed into the group's psyche. Beneath Melton's dulcet and wispy vocals telling of youth's forlorn romanticism, glitter-laden guitar swipes ascend with tasteful dynamic considerations and insistent percussion propels the hook-laden ditty into oblivion. Supporting the release of "Reaction," Warm Soda, comprised of Melton along with Sam Lefebvre and Frank Ene, begin a 33 date national tour on September 17th.

It's kind of wild this record was recorded 3 years ago.
Pretty sure it was recorded last year, however he could have been working on it since 3 years ago.

On the sleeve it says recorded March/April 2009.
Damn that's crazy, I thought he recorded an LP last year, it was coming out on Goner or something?
