Non-Music Shit / Re: Paypal alternatives?

I think it clearly states 20,000 AND 200 transactions, meaning you must qualify infor both of those, if I'm wrong please let me know...

I believe you're wrong. It says that it will report both people who make 20,000$ off paypal a year AND people who have over 200 transactions. And that makes complete sense that they would do it that way and not the way you're saying, which really makes little sense.

You have to exceed both levels. 200 and $20,000 (and it's not 200 transactions total, it's 200 payments received).  It's been discussed on a couple other boards in great detail and people have called and asked. It's a new IRS tax law change, not a Paypal-instituted policy.

Thanks for your input Richie, that is the way I understood it as well.

From what I read it's 200 transactions and 20,000 gross income. I don't know about you but there is no way I pulled 20,000 in record sales this year.

Last two bands I've seen was Green Day at 1234 go a couple weeks ago and Descendents before that, had a great time at both, how's that for not being termbo approved!

Trying to check out Deaf Wish tomorrow, hopefully I'll get off work in time.

I do like the idea of an alternative to paypal. Sad to say MOST people would probably laugh if you asked them to send cash or a money order these days. However when I first started buying records I would send cash all the time. Shit I would even send cash for pre order and get my records 2-3 months later.

The best part was, I wasn't upset when I got that record after waiting 3 months, I was fucking excited. I knew I was the one of the first ones to get the record and hear it. Friends would come over and we'd listen to the record over and over again.

These days, most people can't even wait till they get their record in the mail, they go and download it, and then never even spin the record.

Sometimes I wonder why I do this shit.
