Stumbling home from the bar one night I saw one that said LUVSCCR, and got really stoked until my friend pointed out that it was actually LUV SCCR, and not LUVS CCR.

Music Shit / Re: SERIOUS RECORD COLLECTOR: STORIES FROM THE TRENCHES

This thread is giving me a serious urge to go thrifting/rummaging.  Even though I rarely find any gems.  I did recently snag a really clean copy (with beat-up sleeve) of Saturday Night Pogo at Flipville for $1, though.  Last rummage sale I went to I was flipping through some really shitty records, when I noticed they were all sitting in 2 mint condition old Platter Pak's with "psychedelic" designs.  I asked the lady if she'd sell em and she said "oh, those are collector's items, so I'd have to sell them for like $5 a piece."  I offered her $6 for both and she took it.

is that the place that looks like someone's parent's finished basement from the late 70s or early 80s?  if so i think i went to a show up there about 7 or 8 years ago.
I think you're thinking of Circle A

Mad Planet's ok.  Ever since that Tuff Bananas ordeal it seems like they only book the "big" garage/punk shows i.e. KK&BBQ, Quintron, Dirtbombs etc.

Their bloody's are awesome.  I dunno what the problem is with having a bunch of veggies.  Most of it's just sitting on the top, so it's not taking away from the amount of bloody mary you're getting.  I usually take most of it and set it aside on a napkin.

I just got an LG enV2 a couple weeks ago, and I highly recommend it.  It's a little thicker and heavier than a RAZR, but it's got a really nice 2 megapixel camera and full QWERTY keypad.  The batteries last a really long time too...I've been charging it like every 4 days, and I use it a lot, and have been messing with it a lot since I just got it.  I thought it looked kinda cheap and cheesy in pictures, but in person it looks cool.
I ended up getting it for $50 ($100 & $50 mail-in rebate) at a Verizon store, because I was eligible for the New Every Two deal.

Can't believe no one's mentioned On Parole yet.  That and Ace of Spades are my favorites.
