ACDC - music to be played quietly by sober people

Well yeah, that's my point. Exactly.

The word vinyl itself is singular and plural.

Ok, that's quite an acceptable rebuttal.

My worst roommate experience is not overly bad, but it is someone I currently live with, who has a penchant for getting wildy drunk and listening to ACDC RECORDS at full volume and becoming violent if you ask him to take them off or even turn them down.

Actually, for me that is quite bad because I don't like ACDC.

I imagine the worst room mate to be one that uses the word 'RECORDS'.

I understand record nerds don't like the word 'vinyl' used like that

But how is that even offensive?

I also used to employed 'silk purse' as a euphemism for vagina.  Never caught on.

Why the hell not?
That's the best thing I've heard all day

The Uniques - Uniquely Yours

totally, are you like old or something, cause i've never heard anything like that since that old blues band workdog or something back in the '80's

I am 19.

I don't understand the rest of that post.

Listening to a record I got today..

The Lyres - Live at Cantones

Yeah that ^

The Whos cover of "I'm a Man" is probably my least favourite of all the versions I've heard, to the point where getting up to shift the needle when I'm listening to that album becomes necessary

I bought two records today..

Gentleman Jesse and his Men - s/t

and

The Spooks - Death From Beyond The Grave

Listening to the Spooks at the moment, side two is killer

I thought the first press was black, second pink and no plans of a repress. Last week they (Aaarght) still had some second press copies left, I bought one because my first press was stolen (wtf?) from a party at my house. And there's a thread-worthy rant in itself.

Lewis Reed / The Jades - All Tomorrow's Dance Parties

4 tracks of Pre-Velvet Underground Lou Reed.
Cool 60's pop, half the tracks sung by Lou and the other half written by him.
It's definitely one of my favourite partying records
