i was friends with these guys in high school that were right on the edge of limp bizkit worship into boy sets fire love. i guess that's what you get in small town Wisconsin.
they had a "hardcore band" that started off playing Korn and that fucking shit ass cover by limp biscuit of that shit ass song by wham!!!!!!. they were the guys that dragged me down to see that get up kids show in Chicago.
seemed like a good idea at the time. the kinda interesting thing was that one of the dudes had bought a wrecked up looking Chevy from the 70's and didn't feel he needed to buy a License or tags, but he drove.
we showed up late, the show was sold out. that keyboard dude got us into the show, back stage n shit.
after the show we got back into the beat up 70's Chevy with no plates or tags and got fucked with by Chicago's finest. we hadn't even left the parking lot before they swooped in and started grabbing discarded fast food bags from the floor and digging through the ashtray, just looking for anything totally illegal like. we didn't have shit.
Chicago cops suck.

what i don't think anyone has mentioned is the fact that a good mix should always be tailored to the recipient's ability to dig the music you dub.
