In more important news, my whopping 13 shares of Nintendo are up $40.

Shares of Nintendo, which owns 32 percent of The Pok?mon Company, dropped about 18 percent Monday after it clarified in a statement that it does not make or own "Pok?mon Go."

I know I am now in the red, like $40!

Unfortunately, I was unable to trade out of my shares when they were way up.  Oh well, I barely have any, anyway. 

And, I totally knew that Nintendo had no way to get $ from the app, so I knew this drop was coming.  I just don't have the focus to be a real day trader.  ha ha.

My wife thought she was being followed in and out of our neighborhood yesterday, but we're almost 100% sure dude was doing Pokemon. 

In a tangentially related vein, I bought some Nintendo shares the other day and am up pretty good so far.  Total stupid speculative move, though; I don't even think Nintendo has an actual way to profit from the game and their stock is an emphatic "sell" from nearly every source you can find.  But the market is irrational at times.  I'll bow out if I make $100 on it; more likely, I'll probably lose most of it.  Pretty punk, right?
