I was just talking about Columbus the other day,is Dodge skatepark still there. Ha,ha I know the neil house is gone but there's some sort of legion of doom, right? How about Bernie's? Remember the Columbus fest,I remember seeing Assuck play someone's front yard. Over and Out.

Whatever. people burn out. plain and simple.

Off topic, this thread is about dames, not aging.  I did another thread on that one, someone dig it up.

Also:

let's hear from more young girls and overweight near-30ish guys

Sounds like that chick is lame. Get over it and find a new one.

Wait a minute, Steve's pairing of those two obviously implies that both groups opinions are not so valid.  There-fore, Steve is saying that the opinions of the smattering of female posters on Termbo don't matter.  Which means that he is as guilty of misogyny as anyone.  I bet that type of thinking gets him laid a lot!

RE:Being a Lifer

Here's a picture somebody just put up on Facebook two weeks ago of a show from 1997 in which you can see me in the background.  I'm behind the guy in the blue shirt.  The band was horrible, and my only recourse is to state that based on my body position, it looks like I'm about to leave, maybe.

or start a circle pit......what band is that?

Whatever. people burn out. plain and simple. There's always an influx of new people. That's how it is.

The list is thousands long
People who decided it wasn't for them
Did they really make that decision?
Conditioning runs deep in the U.S.A.
Teenage rebellion is just fine as long as you stop once you turn eighteen
Thousands of punks turned to society's tools
There is something in their eyes
You can tell they sold out
Remember punk is more than teenage rebellion
Sure it starts there. But why does it end?
And the list is thousands long
What other life is there besides a life of freedom?
Never give in
Never give up
When boredom sets in
Think of the young kids who we once were
That enthusiasm is still there
You look around
What do you see?
One to replace every five that leave
And the list is millions long
But, lately I see an upsurgency
Back to old values of dedication and fuking rebellion
Perhaps the list is only hundreds long.

Ha,Ha Jake Filth was my roommate for awhile. That's funny.

Whatever. people burn out. plain and simple. There's always an influx of new people. That's how it is. Most of the thirty somethings I know don't go to shows that often....there's always the lifers...people that put on shows, put out records,etc.. I think about the punks I grew up with a lot of them I don't ever see. It takes some reunion show to drag em out of the wood work. Anyways my good friend is a broad, over thirty and will still road trip for a show, hell she flew over seas(by herself)to see Hell Fest in France. While a lot of the dudes I know just bitch about no good shows but won't go and check out any new bands.

Non-Music Shit / Re: Freight hopping...
« on: August 04, 2009, 10:51:16 AM »
Just watched a Woody Guthrie Documentary, they had a bunch of depression era footage with people riding the rails to the west, looked cool. Don't think I'd dig being on a freight with some crazy hobo named 2-finger Tommy or some shit like that though. Met some cruster a coupla years back,he lost both of his legs hopping trains, pretty fucked.

I've seen this band a bunch of times...the drummer is killer but I can't get past the vocals. I have never heard  their records and yes they are nice guys(Rose Tattoo quote here.). Anyways you could see a lot worse live. Who else are they playing with? That would determine if I would go or not.

Sick Pleasure, fuckin genious.......I saw Nicki Sicki not to long ago and he was wearing a coat with a screenprint that read If Speed Kills Your Looking at a Dead Man.
Grudge- O.C. GarbXedge.
Saw Left Over Crack once and the best part of the show was when they came out to do an encore, somebody stole the guitarist' distortion pedal, needless to say no encore ha,ha....Shitty band. Shittier fans. Although they would all probably like Sick Pleasure if they had any taste.

The Pizzas just played Tex-ass recently and it was a drunken good time. Their songs get stuck in your head for days on end.

Rented it the other day,I've watched it three times already...in fact I'm bringing it to work to play on our T.V. so others can experience it and enjoy the Human Highway(anybody use this for a band name?)as much as I did.
