I was looking at the Mean Red Spiders entry on Something I Learned Today and Greg Prevost himself posted this in the comments:

By the way, I recorded 3 albums (never released) in 1974-1975 as Mr. Electro & The Retards (Obviously I was Mr. Electro), a solo Glam/Punk 45 (never released Nowhere Records #1), and an ep by the Chesterfield Kings never issued (wish I could remember titles), and an album by The Mean Red Spiders (formerly the Mean Red Bastards)-all savage and demented?The tapes are-lost? I can?t find them-if I do I?ll get some of this stuff out there-anyway-thanks for the interest?rock on-greg

Maybe some enterprising reissue label should get in touch??

Since I got a giant reel to reel 8 track that I can no longer carry into my computer room, can someone recommend a good CD burner that I can just run the 8 track into to convert the stuff I record to digital? Sarim if you're reading this what's the name of the one you use?

What's good, I would like to let you know that Home Blitz is playing
live tomorrow/today, Wednesday November 14th, at Silk City in
Philadelphia, PA. We are playing as part of the "Foggy Notion" party;
we're the only band playing and I think we're gonna go on around
11:15. It's FREE. Our friend Julia is DJing, along with some other
"Foggy Notion DJs". We will not be covering "Get Back To Me" by the
Action cause it sucks.

I just bought a tascam 388 8 track reel to reel, but it didn't come with a take up reel, the second reel that accumulates the tape. Is there any specific kind I need to get, or will anything I find that fits be fine?

As mentioned in Rich's Pissed Jeans interview: http://punkmodpop.free.fr/boyfriends_us_ep2.htm. How rare/valuable is this record? It is the follow up to the 'I Don't Want Nobody" 7", correct? Also, 'Scrapbooking' reminds me of Shel Silverstiein's solo music recordings.
