i really liked skinema by chris nieratko. it's pretty fucked up, just porno reviews molded in a story about his life. i've read it a few times laughing out loud each time. it's an easy read but not for everyone.

probably not for everybody who comes on this board but this looks pretty cool to me. i don't remember the last time the mighty boosh were around the US plus the mr. show experience, tim and eric, reggie watts, etc. 99 dollars plus all the ticketmaster fees seems like a lot of money though.

« on: May 29, 2013, 06:19:04 PM »6 episodes into S4. Each episode seems funnier than the prior as jokes layer and the stories start to build. Very cool/interesting/ambitious structure to this.
i agree. i wasn't into the first few episodes but after watching the entire new season i was really into it. they did a good job. i hope the movie, if they do it, is done just as well.

The Ginn one will be entertaining cuz I'm sure it's gonna bum people out (I expect it to sound somewhere between "In My Head" and Gone) and might actually have good moments. the Morris-led one will be for chumps wanting to mosh to "Six Pack" and "TV Party".

i was thinking the same thing. 'black flag' is playing two shows in my area coming up with ron reyes on vocals. i want to go but i don't know if it's worth 30 dollars. does anyone know what songs are on their set list? if its only early stuff i'll probably pass. at the same time it might ruin it for me to hear ron sing songs off my war or slip it in.

not as good as old sabbath but not totally terrible. i thought ozzy would have sounded way shittier after seeing him barely be able to speak on that mtv show he did years ago (haven't seen interviews or anything with him since then). probably won't buy the album but i like it more than the new stooges shit i've heard.
