Today I got up, went to work and served people overpriced hummos and cheese plates, came home and changed... Currently watching TV and reading Termbo and generally doing nothing good or productive.

I did get a Country Teasers 7" in the mail today that I'd ordered, and my little baby can now lift his head almost 90 degrees up when he's lying on his stomach, which is pretty impressive for a 7-week-old. So I guess it was a pretty good day. I dunno. Right now I can barely keep my eyes open.

Just got the last Hue Blanc's Joyless Ones LP in the mail today and I'm psyched to hear it!

I drunkenly bought a comp record at a house show in Bloomington last night called Overbored, I've never heard of any of the bands on it but I'm pretty curious and excited to hear it as well. I think I mostly bought it because of the cover, it has a tiger on it.

Hm. Because of that they also charged me a $150 "security deposit" to get gas service when I moved into the place I live now. I've never been late on a payment here, so I'm hoping I get that back. Somehow I doubt it though. Fuckers.

the gas company has to provide me with heat in the winter, so they dont get paid, and havent for going on three years now.

I didn't know they did that. The gas company here in Lafayette (Vectren) definitely shut my gas off in early Feb of '07. I was freezing under a bunch of comforters with two space heaters cranked up. And then they charged me an $80 "activation fee" to get it turned back on.
