"Train of thought" and "logic" are not the same thing. Logic follows rules based on premises and points and is usually straight-forward. Misunderstanding a scientist's original premise dismisses a counterargument.

This is some sillyspeak. I've watched this special on the local Christian channel several times in the past weeks with various "experts" who have shitty pre-PowerPoint technology trying to argue against evolution and the general age of the Earth. It's obvious they quote from sources without reading articles or books and have no understanding of the scientific process or logic and always misread statements. Getting science news from the general news sources or your friends and most of the internet doesn't count. You usually have to read something physical because scientists publish shit.
I wish these types would read an Intro to Logic, which would tell you how to construct, defend, or poke holes in arguments.

I saw them two nights in Chicago in probably 2006. They killed it. Everyone except Shane is sober now so the band is supertight and he was doing okay. My boys saw them in New York a few days later and Shane was in a wheelchair because he had fallen off the stage in Philly. That would be less exciting to see.
