Cities / Monterrey/Northeast Mexico

I'm arriving in on the 4th, does anyone have any suggestions? Any Termbros live here? Keen for the obvious - books, records, bars, eats, but also anything I could easily miss.
Is there many cities in the Northeast worth visiting? This will be my first time in Mexico, be gentle..

the acustic stuff?
the Paul Westerberg solo stuff?

I love LET IT BE, but even that record has some stinkers (Garry's got a boner/Tommy Gets His Tonsils Out/blackdimand), I like maybe 2 songs off STINK(the first and last ones), the acoustic outtake version 'Can't Hardly Wait'' on TIM is pretty great soundin', most other stuff I have found I can leave,PLEASE TO MEET ME is a total snoozer, few good tracks off TIM, nothing really that grabbing, same with all the Paul Westerberg solo shit, but I haven't probably explored that enough.
