RIP DIY
A group photography show celebrating the lost but not forgotten DIY spaces of Brooklyn, NY.

The DIY music scene in Brooklyn is a constantly changing landscape; venues
open and close in the blink of an eye. Brooklyn has been hit particularly hard recently with the closing of
some long-standing institutions like Death by Audio and Glasslands.
Some will rise from the ashes to create new spaces and new identities,
but most will simply fade away, taking with them opportunities for creativity and
community.

Twenty photographers come together to create a visual eulogy for this time, space and community.  Featuring images from 285 Kent, Big Snow Buffalo Lodge, Dead
Herring, Death By Audio, Fitness, Glasshouse, Glasslands,   Ho_se,
Monster Island, Original Silent Barn, Party Expo, The Glass Door, The
Shank Goodbye Blue Monday, Original location Secret Project Robot and The Woodser.

Exhibit Artist Include:
Rafe Baron
Luke Chiaruttini

I've been hearing this story ever since I knew what cocaine was.   Only it wasn't her ass that I heard it was blown up.

Music Shit / Best state for music?
« on: February 07, 2015, 10:38:16 PM »
I've been listening to records from Ohio bands all night and have to say that this has been (past to present) the best state for music.  Anyone got another opinion?

Then again, I had the luxury of growing up in a secular, middle class household in the richest country in the world, so what the fuck do I know?

you're really lucky, secular households in Qatar are quite rare.

What exactly is your point? Secular households in the United States are also quite rare.

The point being that erickelric grew up in Qatar since that's the richest country in the world...

Music Shit / Best show you ever went to in your life and why

I'm still trying to decide on my answer.  But go ahead...

I just had a friend tell me that he thinks the square people are wrong, that it's a CSS issue not JavaScript.  I'm wondering if I should just find a different template to use... Maybe that would help?

I tried changing the font on my website to Arial but it hasn't seemed to change anything.

I don't know how to change the font on Square... I'll keep looking around.

Worked on my iPhone fwiw.

Did you try adding things to the cart?  Or pressing the "view more" button to read the item descriptions.  It loads for me but it is very difficult to navigate and a few of the functions don't work at all.

Here is a link to the page I'm having problems with on mobile.  I have an iphone too: http://underaurora.net/shop.html

On the website for my business I have a shop that I embedded using Square Market.  It works great on my computer but I can't get it to work correctly using my phone.  I contacted both Square and Bluehost and they both told me to find a developer to help me if I don't know what I'm doing.  Well I don't have a developer. And I don't know what I'm doing.  I built the site using a drag and drop builder (Weebly).

Here is the email I got from Square:
Our engineering team has taken a look and they?ve found that the Javascript on your mobile website is broken. They recommend taking a look at the console in your browser, or asking your developer to look at the Javascript console. Once the Javascript is fixed, the menu embeds will work.

Note that this is only occurring on the mobile version of your website. The desktop version is working across all platforms. I hope this answers your question!

Here is a screen shot they sent me:

Anyone have any idea how I can go about fixing this???
