I used to play TWR a lot as a kid, especially a few songs from The Ruby Sea. When i grew up i realised the guy's voice sounded like Gene Clark. The sub pop single is good.

Paypaled after discogs offer rejected. Pleased and disappointed.

Mediaval Kills is good although I prefer the s/t. More metal should have used the aesthetics of Mediaval Kills.

a couple of black metal favorites, for Satan

Order From Chaos - Stillbirth Machine LP

Necromantia - Scarlet Evil Witching Black LP

the early/mid 90's were a very boring time for me in regard to punk and hardcore. during this time I discovered all the great death metal and black metal albums coming out. still very fond of much of that stuff today

I like the Order From Chaos, sold it in a lot a while back when I needed fast cash but it  stands out. Technically it's DM though.

Well, I think pretty much they made a good EP, An amazing LP (Days of Wine..) and then didn't make anything worth listening to ever again (even though there are good songs on their 2nd LP, The Medicine Show).  They live on the reputation of Days of Wine...

I'm a big fan but it's kinda true... There was a radio show that came out on atavistic that was fantastic but was basically 1st ep and album.  Out of The Grey never grabbed me, but I love Ghost Stories which was their final album.
Yes, Ghost Stories is underrated, the only DS record I still play.

Thanks saved search for missing that.

The Masonics-Silent by Night, put this on my iTunes after they were mentioned in the Billy Childish thread a month or so ago. I have no idea how this band and album slipped my mind. Such a great band and album. Could have also been an entry into the crazy eBay/Discogs thread as I have seen a copy on vinyl on Discogs listed for $299.
It's been there for ages. Great band,

Speaking of VHS tapes, has anyone on here had the pleasure of seeing "Massacre at Central High"? This still hasn't been properly re-issued on DVD, but I found a VHS copy at a thrift store a few years back and freaked my shit. Great 80's horror movie with tons of political references. Also, there is obviously the Screamers connection with the director. If you are a frequent Ebay shopper I would say blow ten bucks on this, or the myriad DVD bootlegs. Really intense low budget horror/social commentary.
That's a good one. Andrew Stevens rules.

That Pilgrim State is a keeper for me. A bit hard to get into, though. I am sure it is easy to find over there, it's 45 euros the last time I saw
I saw it in a store.

Happy birthday and may you release many more great records. Being overseas I can't afford to buy anything from the US but I cherish the releases I bought from the label back in the good old days, especially Ozzie and the Melchior 2LP.

Love this guy's feedback.
I realised only now that, although I practically know the whole Ziggy LP by heart I've never ever listened to Hunky Dory. Played the double Ziggy live LP the other day and it holds out. Will be going my weekly record store round today, curious to see if there are any records left.
I don't think the same thing happened when Lou passed away. Probably Bowie was more 'mainstream'.
