Me too! I can't decide which one. I'm thinking of Gonerfest since I've never been to one and I love Memphis. And the lineup so far is awesome. We'll wait and see who's gonna be at BudgetRock. I told Mitch that he should try to get The Fingers to play! I just started going to shows and then all of a sudden all the bad ass bands started reuniting, so I thought it wasn't that crazy of a thing to ask.

Shit, I'm just gonna have to ball out of control and go to both!

Can anyone help me find a copy of Super Dope magazine #3? The creator Jay only has one copy left for himself. It has an interview with the Gories in it. I've just been really wanting to read that and I got outbid on the copy that was on ebay. been wantin that one for a while. I feel shitty.

How did you get your hand on this stuff? Like a promo photo and business card? I haven't been listening to the Gories for long (about 2 years).

yeah, there was a fairly large poster for "outta here."  it has the photo from the back of the "house rockin'" jacket, if memory serves.

the gories have been one of my favorite bands since i was a teenager.  picked up some stuff over the years and got the promo photo / business card in a trade last year--got 'em in a swap for a gigantic promo poster for "it came from the garage, volume II" (the first gories appearance). 

Ahhh. I just read this post now, so never mind the question about how you got the stuff in my personal message. That's sounds like a good trade to me! I had the "it came from the garage II" LP with the insert and I traded to that dude in spain for cd copies of those shows I told you about. I don't know if it was a good trade 'rarity' wise, but I just really wanted to hear those recordings. It was before I started coming onto TerminalBo, so maybe I could've gotten those gories demos/vpro stuff through here.

That first gories appearance was in 1987 and that was the year I was born, haha! Sometimes I think about what kind of music I'm gonna listen to when I'm older. I know my taste will change, but I'm sure I'll be listening to the Gories for the rest of my life.

I have the anklebreaker single and I like it. I've never heard the LP before, so that's why I don't wanna pay too much for it. Like 15-20 bucks maybe?

Haha, yeah, I have that Little Ruby Pictures one. It's the same event though I guess. How did you get your hand on this stuff? Like a promo photo and business card? I haven't been listening to the Gories for long (about 2 years).

I've seen that Mayhem one in a White Stripes book. There's a chapter on the Gories. I haven't read the book, just seen page excerpts from google books. I want to get it just to read that Gories chapter.
