I have one Gories flyer. I'll try and take a picture of it when I get the chance. It's blue and has that cool cat on it. It's a release party for the Houserockin album. Art Phag is the opening act. so beautiful!

i guess this one can count too. i have a flyer for the last gories show. the show was to raise money for the making of the Wayne County rambling film. i'm sure you know all this. but anyways, i got it from Dan Rose himself. it's not like all beat up or was ripped off a wall. it was from him. reprint? maybe it was laying around in a stack of extras from way back? i don't know. it's cool though. he threw it in the dvd case for Wayne County Rambling when he sent it to me. I met him at the memphis show. nice guy!

oh yeah, if you haven't, be sure to google Wayne County Ramblin and cop a dvd from Dan Rose's website. Mick Collins has a role in the movie!

The Mummies at Maxwell's NJ was the first real rock show I've ever been to. I've been to open mic nights before, but it was basically acoutic/poetry/weird shit. I had no idea if people moshed at mummies show or what, haha. And I didn't know that I was gonna get to meet the mummies! So I used this scrap of paper I had.

Hey Eric, do you know the name of the girl who was holding down the Gories merch table at the memphis show? She was so nice to me. She gave me that gories sticker for free after I spent my last bit of cash on a shirt. She was Peg's high school friend I think.

Gories/oblivians/memphisgaypride weekend was the best hottest weekend of my life....

Shit..I roadin a van packed with no ac and windows that don't open for 12 hrs. I tried to sleep it away but uhhh I had to many snickers bars. Totally worth it though

Best weekend for real. I was also going to meet one of my most favorite rappers Tommy Wright III. That would've been unreal to see all these people in one weekend. He gave me his number, but I had no time. Me and a buddy rented bikes and CotDamn it was hot. I only had time to visit Goner, Sun records and Beale Street. Sorry memphis people, but I regret visiting Beale street. If I went by myself, I probably would've just met up with Tommy Wright and stayed in the Goner store during the whole free afternoon I had. Then go to that mall that has the jukin dance school. Next time I go(I really love Memphis), I'm gonna bring an empty suitcase, just so I can fill it up with shit from Goner. And I didn't even get to check out the mighty mississippi.
