Artifacts - Between A Rock And A Hard Place

I love this record. Great beats and flows. The second one "That's them"  is very good too.

These past fews days I've been listening to :
Micranots "Obelisks movements"
Black Moon "Enta da stage" (top 5 hip hop album IMO)
A-Wax "Pulling strings"  (one of the few recents rap albums I like)

Music Shit / Strummin' Mental series
« on: July 12, 2016, 03:29:56 PM »
There seems to be two different Strummin' Mental series: one on Link records and the other on Link Wraycords. It's probably the same label but tracklists are not the same.

Last Lp was killer...djing an art show and  actually just played the first track off it... I'm sure this one will be dope....fuck garage punk
It has nothing to do with garage punk. This band was playing post punk with a garage sound a bit like the Homostupids were playing hardcore with a garage sound. In fact they were even more than that. Now they lost it, they sound too conventional, almost indie pop/rock  like if the Homostupids were doing melodic hardcore. I can't stand it. They made great singles and a excellent LP, it's better than most of the bands. I thank them for that.  But for me now they are more pitchfork than termbo...

ha... oh dear.. what's wrong with it? that's meant to be one of the better tracks too

their first records are a great mix of garage, post punk and weirdness and now I just hear pop and indie rock.
