My initial thought was, "whoah!  I don't remember them being around in the 90s."  But then I realized you meant the Styrenes.  Great record.  And actually kind of a funny slip-up as it reminds me when Shaun, Kidneys' drummer was scouring the web for some Silver Daggers and came across the Styrenes single on Gemm, bought it thinking it was the now-wave band, and was dissappointed when it wasn't.  So he came into the record store that I was managing with a stack of stuff to trade in, including the Styrenes single, and when I came to that, recognizing the cover from Static Party, I was really taken aback.  "Uh.... why are you trading this in?"  So he explains the story to me, and I'm like "dude I'm not letting you trade this in.  You're better off with this than that shitty Ex impersonation anyway.  Give it another shot with a clear head."  I think he still has it... hopefully.

I don't know why I wrote silver daggers.  Of course it's the Styrenes.


I forgot in my list Country Teasers "Satan Is Real Again" LP and Silver Bullet "Bring Down The Walls No Limit Squad Returns" LP a really great Hip Hop album.

I finally put my hands on Vegetative state "Feeding Tubes" LP (thank you criminal IQ). And I'm not disappointed at all. It's really great, better than the first 7" which was already good.
